Yeah, just fill out a character sheet and you'll be good to go! The templates are on the first page))
(Thank you!)
(Hey @EyeOfTheBeeholderAndTheRulerOfSass Sol and Arryn are heading over to the cafe where Heath works)
(Nixon is at the cafe as well)
(Hey, sorry that I haven't been very active. I'm in a few other rps right now and in America, the next two months are literally full of holidays. I might pull my two characters from this rp and just monitor)
(Awe!!)
(Aww I was kinda looking forward to it because you said your freelancer could try to recruit Sol, but I understand)
I'm gonna try to stay active here, but there is still a big chance that I'll pull my characters. I can be on tonight, so the next couple of days will really determine it.))
(But for now, I'm gonna throw them back in with this, and hopefully, make them interact with some others!)
Around the turn that Florence had taken was an entended building. Above one set of doors, held the name of a library while on the other side was a cafe. Florence pushed open the doors of the cafe, both of them, each with one hand. Easton followed behind the girl with the rust-colored hair, picking an empty table and sitting his things beside one of the empty seats. Florence did the same and sat down, putting her elbows on the table and then dramatically putting them together.
"I've got a few things to show you– since you're interested in all of that freelancer stuff." She said, pulling her phone out of her bookbag.
Easton sat down in the chair opposite of Florence and spread his wings out a bit so they weren't so pressed against the metal backing of the seat. As she scrolled down on her phone, a barista walked over to their table, smiling and asking them what she could get for them. Florence held up her index finger to Easton.
"Two vanilla cappuccinos then," he said, looking back over to Florence as the woman left.
Holding up her phone, Florence showed Easton a page that contained news relating to recent villain activity. At the top was a headline in large black letters, speaking of multiple dead bodies that had been found. "Spooky," Florence said, putting on a sharp smile.
Sol didn't really mention that it was already afternoon because she understood how fast time passes when in a good book. She brought the book to the register, and handed the lady her ten dollar bill. She was only left with two dollars of change.
"Let's go," she said, holding the door open.
Arryn nodded and left the bookstore “bye Mrs. Mitchels!” She waved to the owner. They walked a few feet into the coffee shop next door
As they arrived they took a seat at the window.
A women walked up to them to ask for their orders.
"Well, all I can afford right now is a tall plain coffee so I'll have that and Arryn will have…" Sol paused, waiting for Arryn to finish her sentence.
Nixon looked up from his phone as more people entered the cafe. He didn't think much of it and grabbed his notebook from his backpack and started working on some assignment he never handed in for school.
Soon, the same woman who had taken their order came back with two medium sized cups in hand, as well as a receipt. Scrolling down through the feed of the website, Easton finally set the phone back on the table and slid it over to Florence. "I already knew about most of that…aside from the bodies." He said, the last part much quieter.
"Psh, don't say it like that. It's not like you knew them anyway." Florence said, taking her phone in her left hand and darkening the screen. Easton gave her a look of concern but wasn't very surprised. Florence often made comments like this and seemed very deadened to most events. If anything, Easton thought she found it entertaining.
Casting a glance over the cafe, Florence was surprised to see the number of people that had gathered here. At the counter, she noticed, was the same person that had been beside Easton on the bench outside. I've seen him somewhere before, she thought, looking back over to Easton. But it's not like I can say much more to him about it. There's always the chance that it was during something less than legal.
(Imma pretend Arryn has ordered lol)
Arryn took a sip of her marshmallow hot cocoa and hummed “this is so good!”
Sol hummed in agreement. "So, this may be a little weird, but what is your ability? I can't tell from looking at you. If you don't mind me asking of course."
“I can manipulate electricity and technology. Not a really helpful ability except that I’m acing all of my Computer science classes!” She sad
(Mood.)
(Seriously just do all of the computer classes it would be great)
(Lol yes, Arryn is a mood)
"Well that's a positive aspect. I can pause time for like a few minutes. I use it to get rid of bullies, mostly. It's not really useful except for giving me an edge in gym, but I always have to sit out after they realize, or when I need a few more minutes to do class work." She hummed with disappointment. "Kind of sad to have such a pitiful power, isn't it?" She shook her head.
(Okay so I'm seeing they're both telling each other their powers but when they encounter each other when fighting they're probably going to be like "oh wow such a coinkidink that my friend has the same power as my enemy!")
(^cough^ Unless they’re Adrien and Marinette…)
Lmao those two are as clueless as clueless gets)(but yes and that will be a mood)
“That is much better then mine! You can stop time, even for a little bit! The most I can do is probably make phones have a message displayed across them.” She sighed
