“They usually are,” Curt grumbled, soft so that only Alice could hear.
“They usually are,” Curt grumbled, soft so that only Alice could hear.
She smiled a bit before continuing her pacing.
“We can leave if you’d like.” Cameron and Catherine said flatly, raising an eyebrow.
(I said only Alice could hear, jo)
(They can hear everything, Li.)
(But….. but…. i specified….. ;)
(Also I think that j deserves to be capitalized. Even if they couldn’t hear, they would still say that either way.)
(Tru. Sorry I’m lazy)
"We can’t leave now," Edmund objected. "We’re wholly unprepared."
“Right.” Curt said, if only to stay in the discussion.
“Tell me everything you know about the Queen. Everything.”
“She’s evil,” Curt contributed.
“Helpful.”
“He is that way.” Cameron and Catherine said, picking up their teacups.
"She's a tyrant. And doesn't care who dies or lives. She has a secret dungeon where she keeps people that she thinks deserves punishment for standing up to her."
“Tyrannical. OKay,” she continued pacing. “Does she have a weak spot?”
“Doesn’t everybody? But we don’t know it yet.”
"It seems her weakness is in her followers. Mind control."
“How is that a weakness?” Curt asked, perplexed.
“Is that confirmed or is that your theory? I don’t want theories.”
"Not a theory. But she can control the men who serve her, and she casts illusions. Falsities."
Thoughtfully, Edmund said, "if she mind controls all her subjects, then we can easily start a somewhat revolt if we just find a way to break them out of the control, no?"
"Well, yes, but it's more than that. She does more, much more. She ensures that we will die by putting dark spells around the borders. Demons and such."
“Demons can be defeated,” Curt said airily.
"Still…. demons re-form, and are impossible to defeat by conventional means."
