Kira thought back to her first lesson, not recalling her teacher's name. "MAGIC" was written in big letters across the chalkboard. "Magic," the teacker began, "is illigal, and the first thing you, a princess, needs to know before she rules, is the laws of her country. Now, magic used to be used for many, many irresponsible things, including summoning riches- ruins the economy, reviving dead family members, committing crimes," Kira was brought back to reality by a big bump in the road. Reviving dead family members- and friends. Kira risked a glance at Sami and Anna. They didn't notice. Anna died, Kira was sure, no matter what exuse she made for herself. Kira was faced with her first arrest, the greatest crime of all- magic.

"Can we stop and take a break? Freed is breathing heavier than normal," without an answer Shey dismounted and ran to the nearest body of water with Freed's reigns in hand.

Amber followed quickly with Duchess. Duchess and Freed drank for a few minutes and Amber let Duchess rest for a moment.

Diane watched Shey as the horses rested. "How long can they go before collapsing?"

Shey shot her a glance and shrugged, "I'd prefer not to know that."

Kira decided not to waste her break. "Anna, Sami," she tried to sound cheery, like nothing was wrong. "can we talk, please?" The last word was a pain on her toungue.

Amber watched carefully. This couldn't be good.

Michael watched Kira waiting for her to speak, silently hoping she isnt too harsh

"Why are we just waiting for the 'talk of the century' to happen?" Shey stood up and walked over to Michael.

"We're waiting because we can't just be like, 'Hurry up and have your private conversation already!'. That's why." Amber said cooly.
