Shey grinned back to Amber. She looked over at Michael and failed to read his face. It was either an emotion of embarrassment or he was holding back a laugh.

Diane rolled her eyes and tightened her arms around Shey's waist. Why are they so good at riding horses? It's not fair!

"How far is the ride?"

"Feel's like it's gonna take forever," Shey said still smiling.

"Yeah it does." Amber agreed.

"Besides Kira getting to be the boss over everyone, what are y'all gonna do?"

"Another good point."

Shey gripped the reins tighter, trying to ignore Diane's warm breath on her back. "I know I'm going back to hunting."

Michael turned to Shey "Hunting sounds nice"

"Yeah… I guess it is," Shey shot a look at Kira. "It's what I- We," she gestured to Diane, "do to eat and survive."

Reviving dead family members- and friends. Kira risked a glance at Sami and Anna. They didn't notice. Anna died, Kira was sure, no matter what exuse she made for herself. Kira was faced with her first arrest, the greatest crime of all- magic.
