Angelo barked and whined, chasing after until he was lost. A light rain started to fall as he whimpered and tired to follow the slowly disappearing scent
Max scratched the dog, looking down at him. “What’s the matter? Huh? Are you afraid of storms?” He hugged the dog tighter. “It’s okay. I’ll keep you dry.”
Habiki sighed. Relaxing a bit into the hug. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad..
Habikis father came up behind Angelo what is wrong little pup?
Angelo growled in the direction Max went. He took him!! He took my mate!! I have to save him! He whimpered again
Max smiled as he pulled up to a small townhouse, gently picking up the dog and bringing him inside
don't get me wrong, I am glad habiki is in caring arms. But you must wait. Habiki can handle his own for a while, wait till tomorrow when he goes to walk him.
Habiki paced around the house, sniffing everything.
Angelo whined again, walking slowly toward Max's house. When he arrived, he laid under the porch, whimpering as he thought of what might happen to Habiki in there
Max chuckled, then started digging in the kitchen for something the dog could eat. A small girl poked her head around the corner. "Uhhh, Max? Theres a big doggy in here!" Max laughed. "Yep! He's ours for a few days until I can bring him to Julia's to get checked." The girl gasped and hugged Habiki
Habikis tail wagged. He loved kids! Habiki played an pounces and bounced around. He barked playfully. His emotions going to Angelo as he played around kids are friggin amazing!
Angelo felt Habiki's excitement and he sighed, resting his head on his paws. Maybe he was better off with Max.
The girl giggled and tackled the dog, giving him lots of scratches. Max smiled warmly. "What should we name him, Rose?"
Rose thought for a moment. "How about… Jack!"
Max laughed then petted Habiki on the head. "Well Jack, I'm Max, and this is my little sister, Rose."
'jack' or habiki barked. He could smell Angelo near and that made his pharamones bounce. He walked up to the door and scratched. He'd seen they had a fence and figured he could call from there.
Rose laughed. "I think he wants to go outside!"
Max chuckled, bringing Habiki to the back door. "This way, Jack. I dont want you getting lost."
"Can we please please please keep him??" Rose whined, tugging at Max's shirt
Max sighed. "I dunno… Dogs are really expensive, and I don't wanna pick up another job and leave you all alone for longer."
Rose sighed and nodded, opening the back door for 'Jack' where there was a small backyard
Habiki ran into the back yard pacing a bit before actually going. He then continued to whine softly Angelo!
Angelo perked up, wanting so badly to rescue his mate, but he stayed where he was, deciding it was better to listen to Habiki's father, the more experienced alpha. He simply howled a sad cry back, letting the other know he was near.
Max and Rose looked at each other and smiled once they heard the exchange of howls.
"Maybe that was his family!" Rose said excitedly
"Or his girlfriend." Max added with a wink. "Come on Jack, lets get inside before you get too soaked."
( compleaty forgot lol XD)
Habiki called a little more desperately come on! He doesn't know it's us!
(Its okay XD I do that too lmao)
Angelo sighed, standing up and walking to the backyard. He looked up at Max with sad eyes through the metal fence.
"Another doggy!" Rose cheered
Habiki whined to max, rubbing his face against the fence and whining again
Angelo scratched at the fence, keeping his gaze on Max.
Max smiled, then opened the fence, as Angelo bounded in and tackled Habiki. I thought I lost you!!
me to! Habiki nuzzled under Angelo's head. He barked happily and shook off the rain on his pelt
Angelo howled, giving Habiki a few licks as his tail wagged excitedly
Max laughed, and couldn't help but notice something familiar about the two…
"I guess we can take care of both of them tonight."
Rose cheered
Habiki barked happily and tried to come in I'm done..
Angelo followed Habiki, resisting the urge to shift and open the door for him. Instead, he begrudgingly waited for Max. He had to admit though, the whole ordeal was pretty funny.
Max opened the door just a little letting the dogs in as he ran to get a towel
Rose grinned and pet the both of them. "Good doggies!"
Habiki played with the kid again. Bouncing around and prancig with the kid.
Angelo watched and joined in as Habiki played, then barked happily. You know, I really like kids too…
Max then threw towels over them, drying off their wet fur. "There was go, that should do it"
