Max fake smiled again. “I just simply adore you two.” He huffed

Angelo chuckled slightly, when he noticed the waitress coming with the drinks. He handed Habiki the tea. “Damn that smells good…”

" hot tea is always good tea," he said and took a drink " what a sip?" He asked Angelo

Angelo grinned, sharing some of Habiki’s tea. “It tastes even better!” He passed his drink over. “Mine has tequila, but you’re welcome to have some.”

Habiki tasted the drink " that's.. a bit pungent.. " he said as his nose crinkled. Habiki looked over at the still pouting max what's you problem man,

Angelo laughed, wrapping an arm around Habiki. “It’s okay. It’s kind of strong.” He followed his gaze to max, brow furrowing slightly

Habiki felt a little worried around max. Like there was something in him that would try and go after habiki. That scared him.

Angelo felt his worry, tightening his grip around Habiki. I feel it too… but I won’t let anything happen to you.

Habiki looked up at Angelo and scooted closer. He took another sil of tea and tried to relax.

Angelo leaned his head on Habiki’s, then started a conversation about hockey, and the news, and stuff to come, trying to take the other’s mind off Max

" are you guys ready for the snow next week!" Habiki said happily

The other teammates cheered, taking about going to one of the outdoor rinks. Chicago was notorious for awful weather, perfect for playing hockey.
Angelo laughed. "I already reserved a rink! You all better be there!"

" I will! I love the snow!" He said. Habiki was part husky so to him the cold was never bitter. He actually loved rolling around in it.

Angelo looked outside as the moon began to rise, shining straight through the window. His urges became even stronger. Shit… "I uh, I think I forgot to lock my car." He said, then went to go outside, needing to shift for a moment in order to feel okay the rest of the night.

Habiki could feel it to, just he went out back. He noticed someone following him " who..?" But he didn't have time. He shifted right as max came out crap..

Angelo was back in his car, shifting quickly as he noticed Max outside as well. Hopefully he didn’t see me. and hopefully Habiki didn’t follow…

Max glared at the animal, reaching for it to check if it had a collar. “You’re a huge doggy huh, are you lost?”

Habiki flinched when max touched him, ducking under his hand. His tail tucked between his legs as he continues to whine.it wasn't until Max's hand hit the good scratching spot did he stop whining and lean into Max's hand. His tail wagged gratefully.

Max chuckled, gently petting the wolf. “Hey, it’s okay. It’s alright.” He checked for a collar, not finding one. “Huh. Maybe I should get you to my place.” He tried to pick up Habiki

Habiki was pretty light. He fell into Max's arms easily. Habikis paws fell with one on each shoulder, his legs fell the same around the others waist. He laid his head on Max's shoulder knowing he couldn't fight it now.

Angelo sighed as he stretched out in the back of his car, then looked up to see Max holding the animal. He tittles his head, sniffing the air to see what it was. Oh…. Fuck no. he tried his hardest to open the door with his teeth, jumping out into the parking lot

Max smiled, putting the dog in the passenger seat of his car as he called the others inside.
“Yeah. Yeah I think I’m gonna dip on this one. I’ll see ya tomorrow.” He said into the phone, starting his car.

Habiki hadn't seen Angelo, he laid down with a soft whine. Habiki laid his head partially on Max's leg and watched put the driver window as they started to leave

Angelo barked and howled loudly, chasing after the car as max pulled out

Habiki looked up to max, giving a soft bark as his husky ears pirked up from Angelo's bark don't love.. I'll be fine..
