"I…I don't KNOW!" She screams the last word as her body becomes incased in ice.

"Katrina?"

She doesn't answer, as her eyes glow an ice blue, as the room grows freezing.

He wrapped his arms around himself, looking around in panic.

Karina lets out a small whimper as she collapses to the floor, the room dropping in temp.

He dropped down next to her. "Karina? Karina, can you hear me?"

Karina doesn't answer, it doesn't even look like she was breathing.

He genitally shook her. "Shit shit shit shit shit-"

Karina sits up with a gasp, scrambling away from him as her skin started to look burned.

He pulled back, remembering what happened. "I'm sorry-"

Karina's hair was covering her face, as a strand of the raven black became white. She doesn't look up at him.

"Karina?" He asked softly.

Karina looked up at him through her hair. Her voice was quiet. "Y-yea…?"

"Are you okay?" He asked, not quite sure how to handle the situation

"Yea…" She whispers.

"What-just happened?"

"I don't know!"

"I-it's okay, it's going to be okay." He said gently. "I promise-"

Karina cuts him off, by putting a finger to his mouth, shocking both of them. "She's growing too powerful"

"Who?" He asked. "Who's growing too powerful?"

"Frost…s-she controls my ice powers…" She whispers as she scrambles to her bag.

"Karina, what are you talking about? You are Frostbite, aren't you?" He said, following her.

"I am…but my…father created another personality inside my body, to keep my powers under control. Yet she grows stronger…" She whispers as she searches through her backpack.

"What-how even…"

Karina finds a necklace with a black gemstone, and puts it on. "I can't explain. So don't ask"
