Chess was, at the moment, sitting in one of the lab rooms waiting. He hummed a tune to himself. It wasn't necessarily a haunting song but it just came that way from him. He also occasionally spouted phrases in Russian.

Livi shrugged, "I dono, I'm just a kid." She looked back at Cassia, "I may no my way around this place but that doesn't mean I know things about this place."
"But who are you? And why are you here?" she asked. Cassia had never seen Livi around here before, and she'd been a part of these sick experimentations for a long time. But the scientists had never disappeared before, and maybe Livi was left behind as… what? A last present? Gift? A taunt? She couldn't tell, and her thoughts were confused.
Out in the hallways of the lab, Lique flickered into being in front of Cassia and Livi, crying. "You two. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for you to be dragged into this. They promised no one outside The Organisations would get hurt." He fell onto his knees. "They told me they would guarantee that no innocent beings would be here. I'm so sorry. I really am."
Cassia looked up at Lique, and her eyes hardened, a glint of anger on the surface of her eyes. "No," she spat. "People like you, and them," she gestured vaguely around, trying to get across that she meant the scientists. "…can never be trusted."
"Personal experience," she explained, after a long pause, looking away.
Sunny runs up and down through the building, trying to find Chess. She comes across a door standing ajar, she can hear Russian. She walks inside without thinking, he must be here.
Chess stopped as she came in. "Hey, Sunny! Long time, no see!" He slid off the table and took a few steps towards her.
"Where are your friends? Gone to find the exit I suppose. Did Sebastian not tell you what happened when he found the exit?" Chess grinned a too-wide smile. He whispered "They're not gonna make it."
"Yes it has been a while i suppose but that's not the point! I sent them to find the exit, Seb didn't tell me anything and I don't expect him too. He doesn't trust me and I'm sure whatever you've planned they can deal with!" Suny does a lap around the room, examining it. "Now, to deal with you!"
"Deal with me? Ha! You know that's not how it works." He tilted his head like a confused dog. "Surely you saw Sebastian's injuries?" He tapped his shoulder.
"You did that! You're going to pay for that!" Sunny eyes start flaring up, she hasn't done this in years, hopefully she remembers how.
"You can't beat me Sunny. You know that. Not even Lique could beat me." Chess taunted.
"I'm much stronger than him, and I know you know that!" Sunny lifts her hand and a few tiles fly at Chess from the walls.
Livi's face fell when Lique started crying, she wasn't fond of tears, when he left she was still upset but did her best to answer Cassia's questions, "I'm a 'glorified lab rat' according to most of the people who worked here." It was clear the girl didn't truly understand what that meant, after all it was said in hushed whispers that they thought she couldn't hear. It was foolish of them sense an impeccable sense of hearing was one of the things she was designed to have. " According to Papa I'm the specialist little angel ever, but I don't think he means that."
None of the tiles hit Chess. He flicked a few out of the air, caught one and dodged the rest. "Bullshit. May I also remind you that your friends are now going towards a place that Sebastian couldn't get past with a fully loaded gun which is now unloaded. I can leave this room easily whenever I want and you still don't know what's going on."

Cassia looked at Livi. "…you don't look like much of a rat to me," she noted in a suspicious tone. "Or an angel," she added as an afterthought.
(I'm joining this now.)
(Awesome! Go ahead)
(Thanks. By the way, can we have unnatural hair colors like purple, blue, pink, orange, or green?)
(Yeah! Chess's hair glows blue when he wants it too so that's as unnatural as you can get!)
(Yay! Also can I be an animal-human hybrid? Kind of like Maximum Ride, but a different animal. Specifically a wolf or cat in my case.)
(Sure! Using Chess as another example, he is a humanised cheshire cat. Hence the name, Chess)
(you don't need a sheet, just jump straight in!)
(Sorry, I had to look at something.)
Terra stood up and glanced around. She had one of those feelings again, where she either felt like she was supposed to be somewhere or do something. This time it was the somewhere. Every time, it seemed like a strange inner compass pointed in the direction she was supposed to go. She waited for the compass to point her the right way.
(By the way, this is supposed to lead to the other people. Also for some reason I kind of want to do a mystery thing, because I just like mysteries.)
(go ahead! Mystery sounds fun)
(Yay! Tysm)
"You wouldn't dare Chess!" She said, now pulling the pipes out of the walls and trying to restrain him.
Disappearing and reappearing on another table, away from the pipes, Chess laughed. "I would so dare! I'm insane, remember?" At the final sentence, he smiled. The smile went just a little too wide. Too close to where his ears would be if he was human.
