“Oh, a prince?” Ivory asked, raising a pale eyebrow. “Am I supposed to be impressed?”
“Oh, a prince?” Ivory asked, raising a pale eyebrow. “Am I supposed to be impressed?”
Tim leaned against the table. "Usually."
"Nah, most aren't. And I'm not out to impress…" Revan replied and got some water and sipped it.
"I'll grab a drink." He stood up. "You ladies want anything?"
“Only water,” Ivory replied. “Thank you.”
"I don't drink. It only makes my memory worse," Eris sighed, crossing her arms.
"One water, coming up!" He strolled over to the bar.
Tim returned with a glass of water in each hand. "So, a band, Eh?" He set a glass in front of Ivory, and sat down opposite from her. "I'm interested… if there are any openings, of course."
Eris scoffed. How strange that everyone was suddenly interested in what they had been saying. Even stranger that they had apparently heard what they had been saying.
"Is that a yes…?" Tim traced his finger around the edge of his cup. "I play banjo, as strange an instrument as you might think it."
“Sure,” Ivory said, her interest piqued. Not to mention, despite her sarcasm, she was actually quite naive.
"Alright!" Tim held out his glass. "Cheers!"
Ivory held out her glass as well, a half smile on her face. Weird that she and Eris had gotten a small group of boys interested in their conversation so suddenly. Whatever. She didn’t mind much, for the most part.
Revan just watched and listened to their whole interaction. Slightly intrigued, but not really.
Tim turned to Revan. "Oh, Grimhilde… Hi." He took a drink. "I didn't recognize you."
Ivory took a drink from her water, electing to daydream for a moment rather than talk, since she was getting confused.
"Yeah, whatever." He rolled his eyes. Honestly, he hated this guy.
“So, Revan, what brings you here?” Ivory asked, glancing at the boy in question. “Something…wicked?”
"Oh terribly wicked… I came out here to restock my ice cream supply. But I was thirsty so I came here." He said and drank his water.
“My, my, so evil,” she joked. “You must be dying of boredom to want to hang out with me.” She smirked, though it was true she wasn’t the most popular person.
"Who says I'm hanging out with you. Sure I am standing in your presence. But I'm not hanging out." Revan replied.
Ivory rolled her eyes. “Whatever you want to call it.” She took another sip of water, amused.
"Well, it's been lovely meeting you guys," Tim stood up. "But it's getting late. Say, when and where do you want another meeting?"
Ivory shrugged. “I dunno, here is fine,” she replied. “And what about tomorrow at six in the evening?”
"Never," Eris muttered under her breath. Other people were honestly so tiring. "I'd better go. My father will be worried."
