Rose let out an inhumane growl as she stood to her, snapping her wand in half and jammed the crystal like core into his largest wound. She extended her hand and a wooden staff shot from her sleeve it had a heart like shape at the end like an arrow tip, and the staff defiantly was not there a few seconds back and stood "We've sacrificed too many friends..too many family members…I'm not gonna let you take any others away…even if some of them are acting pretty damn spineless right now!" she glared at Dare's shield a second before turning and charging the two shadows, slashing at Jester and pushing the silent one back. Jester leapt backwards and let out another little giggle while the mute one stumbled and fell onto their bottom.

“Spineless? I resent that! Watch it, Glowworm!” Dare called from behind her shield. “I have people who need me back on Earth, so forgive me for not really being too concerned with random folks I’ve know for less than a day!” she snarled. “Zerack, your underlings don’t speak for you. The deal is still open!”

Dare felt the mark on her hand change and reburn into her hand into the roman numeral for 5. Somewhere here two of the hunted had had their life taken, not that any Haven members would know that yet. Tempest on the other hand slowly started to sit up, light-headed and feeling like he had been used as a tiger's chew toy. He tired to stand up but feel back down, trying to keep the wand core in his wound as smaller cuts started to close. Rose shot a spell at the mute warrior which caught them in the chest and sent them sprawling across the snow. Jester slashed at Rose, leaving a thin cut for she was a bit tougher than a normal person having protective spells and hybrid dragon skin.

Dare winced as the brand on her hand morphed and reburned itself into her flesh. She absently thought that either two of the prey had either died or gone home, the latter being far less likely. When she saw Tempest wake up, she rapidly scooted away from him and hid herself behind her shield. “Seriously, Zerack!” Dare yelled weakly. “Help me and I’ll be of great help to you!”

Taking the water bottle tentatively, Erika sipped it. It was, well, water–what was to be expected? "So what's the plan from here on out?" Erika asked Ember. "I don't think my performance should be repeated. Sorry about that."

(I'm just gonna…retcon Johnny) "I-" Ember's eye's widened as she felt something "We need to move!" she looked pure panicked and stood to her feet. She quickly applied bandages to Erika then took her hand "Come on!" she started to pull her along.

"Woa-kay! Where are we going, then?" Erika yelled as Ember yanked her to a run. "What's happening?"

Yumi gasped. “Rose!”
Yumi pushed away Jester, grabbed Rose’s hand and ran to Tempest. Yumi held her chest plate, and a wall surrounded them. Yumi breathed heavily, her chest plate was connected to her in a way, this was a tough thing to hold, especially when more then one person is under her protection.
Yumi sighed and fell over. “I bought us time, we need to think of something fast, I can’t hold it for too long or I’m out completely.”
Yumi looked up. “Wait, I have a mech, you are a hybrid, and you both seem skilled in combat, while I’m not, although I’m tough…”
Yumi walked to Tempest. “I saw you trying to get up, you alright? I’m sorry I’m not fast or strong, I would have tried fighting myself… I’m not skilled in battle…”

Ember said something Erika couldn't fully understand, only hearing the word "Tempest" as she pulled her along.

Rose said to Yumi "We need to get those things away from Tempest and-"

"We c-can't leave behind D-Dare…s-she's just afraid." Tempest muttered as he tried to pull out the core
"Don't you dare touch that Tempest!" she scolded her friend

Yumi sat down on the ground, her eyes getting paler. “Why should we? She tried to kill us. She only thinks about herself, she broke promises. I can’t trust her.”
Yumi grabbed her arm. “You really want to save someone who tried to take your life? Someone who tried to lie? Someone who after you saved went right back to the enemy? How is she afraid! She is willing to kill the three of us!”
Yumi cried a bit more, looking at the ground. She stood up, transforming into her mech. “Listen, the wall will collapse in two minutes. Get yourselves ready, we need to save ourselves.”

Tempest coughed up a bit of his own blood onto the ground again, trying to keep it away from his friends "Because…i-if we let her die…we won't be be any better that the things we're fighting…we ourselves will become the very things we're trying to stop."
Rose nodded a bit "I get that…and I'm not happy about it…he's right though. We'll keep you safe though" Rose assured Yumi
