Wait, then that means Kelton isn't his type tho
(Lol i was just messing around with saying that, he’d like Kelton)
(And Lex, maybe we can just have it random and have Corbin walking to his home at night, and he stubles across Virgil? Corbin usually takes the monsters he catpures alive and keeps them chained down and locked away in his basement until he can sell them, so ig we coud go off that?)
(oki den, I was just kidding and I'm gonna stop interfering now)
Sure!//
(Alright great. Do you want to start or should I?)
Can you start?//
(Yeah, give me a second to type up a starter)
Cool bbeans//
There had been no luck with hunting that night. Not a single creature could be found in the area, or that was as far as Corbin could tell. He usually caught at least one creature every week or every other week, but it had been three and nothing had happened. He had to find something to pay the bills, and he really needed to catch and sell a creature to do so. He sighed as he slung the strap of his rifle over his shoulder adn walked down the empty, terribly lit street. He was dressed in a dark pants, combat boots, a dark shirt, and his Navy Seals jacket. Orion padded along side of him, his tail wagging as he sniffed at the ground.
Virgil hummed happily as he walked down the street, his dog Kingston by his side. He had successfully caught some fear without killing anyone tonight! In his books, that was a victory. He had just moved here and was already being called the emo kid. It's not his fault that all he has in his closet that he will wear in front of humans were hoodies!
Corbin sighed as he neared a few old looking buildings. He glanced around, feeling at his concealed carrier- a small pistol- that was stuffed into the waistband of his pants, along with a swiss army knife. He simply couldn’t wait to get home. At the moment, he would kill to get a nice meal with a glass of whiskey, or anything along those lines to try to soothe his nerves and distract him from the ache in his leg.
Kingston scurried closer to Virgil, which was hard because Kingston is a mastiff. "What is it Kingston? Is someone out there?" He asked the dog woofed in agreement ad Virgil became serious. "Don't worry boy, if it's a hunter I'm sure I can take them."
Corbin could have sworn that he heard a dog bark somewhere in the distance. He didn’t think much of it, really. Orion’s ears perked, though, and the german shepard was more alert, now. He continued walking, lowering his head a bit. He reached around and unloaded his rifle, tucking it away.
Virgil leaned down to pet Kingston's ears. "You're a goooood boy!" He cooed as he rubbed the silky ears, like seriously how do dogs have such silky ears!
Corbin ignored the ache in his leg. He had gotten used to it at that point, the familiar feeling never bothering him too much anymore. Though it would occasionally get a bit more sore if he used it too much. He suspected that’s how it would feel the next morning.
Virgil pet Kingston some more than started to walk again. He ran into someone and fell to the ground. "I am so sorry."
Corbin had grunted sharply and fell to one knee when he was run into. He hissed in pain, feeling it bolt up the back of his left leg. He could easily be identified as a hunter, considering the rifle he had strapped across his back. “It’s fine,” he grumbled, forcing himself to stand as Orion sniffed at him.
Kingston began to growl at the man and his dog. Virgil gave Kingston a sharp glare. "Kingston, down." He hissed in a commanding voice, raising an eyebrow at the mand and startling when he saw the rifle. Shit. He's a fucking hunter, fuck!
