“That’s the last thing,” Corbin told him. He led Matrix over to the section where the men’s gym shoes were.
“That’s the last thing,” Corbin told him. He led Matrix over to the section where the men’s gym shoes were.
Matrix pauses at a display of high-heels. He smiles to himself, bewildered how feet can go that high.
Corbin chuckled when he noticed Matrix looking at the high-heels. “You can’t get those,” he said.
"I know. Just… How?" He holds up a 4 inch stiletto. He walks over to Corbin, "I can't even stand on my toes this high!"
Corbin shook his head slowly. “I don’t know. It takes a lot of balance, I think. Now put that back so we can pick out some actual shoes.”
"Actual shoes. Psh." he picks up the heel and sets it back on the display. He jogs back to Corbin and stares at the shoes
“Pick out what you want. You’ll have to try them on to make sure they fit,” Corbin told Matrix.
"But… They're so expensive! All of them! Except those." He points to crocs
Corbin gave a chuckle. “You are not getting those,” he hummed. “And I can afford a pair of shoes. Now come on and chose.”
"Don't pressure me!" Matrix snorts
“I’m not, Matrix. I just want to get out of here and home as soon as possible,” Corbin said, glancing around a bit.
"Oh?" Matrix raises a brow then snorts with laughter, "God I hate myself." He drags out a pair of random shoes in a cardboard box, "Guess I'll try these."
Corbin smiled and chuckled at that. “M’hm,” he hummed, waiting for Matrix to try them on.
Matrix plops on the ground, puts on the shoes and stands again, "Feels fine." They where obviously too small. He just wanted to get this over with and annoy Corbin as much as possible.
Corbin huffed a bit. He grabbed a pair two sizes up. “Try these.”
Matrix groans again loudly, forcing on the other shoes, "Done? I wanna go home." He scratches underneither the collar.
“Yeah. Let me pay and then we can go home,” Corbin said. He walked up to the counter to pay, the cashier giving Matrix a look.
Matrix hovers behind Corbin, sticking his tongue out at the cashier's look
Corbin paid for all of the clothes and motioned for Matrix to follow him out. He put the clothes in the backseat of the truck and then got into the front seat.
"That was torture. I thought buying clothes was supposed to be fun." Matrix sighs dramatically, sliding into the passenger's seat. He crosses his legs again on the seat
Corbin chuckled at that. “Well lucky for you, we won’t have to do that again for a while,” he said as he started the car.
"Mmm… "Matrix rests his elbow on his knee and chin in hand, "Now what?"
“Now we’re finally going home,” Corbin responded. He pulled out of the space and the parking lot.
"Thank god." Matrix tenses once again as the vehicle moves, "This collar is starting to annoy me."
“You can take it off now,” Corbin told Matrix. He drove down the street, fingers tapping on the steering wheel.
