Okay, this RP sounds good so I'm gonna join:)
Name: Katinka (Tink) Youngward (I know it sounds stupid)
Age: 17
District: 8
Looks: She got very thin, blonde hair that stops at her shoulder blades. Her eyes are grey and she seems very fragile. Her whole appearance is inconspicuous and fragile and that's why everyone underestimates her. She has some freckles on her nosetip and a scar on her shulder from her games. She only wears worn-out clothes because in her opinion she does not deserve what she got from winning. All the money and everything else, she gave it to her parents and some friends. She worked as hard as before the games and lived the same poor life.
Personality: Despite her look she has grown very confident through the games. She, coming from District 8, is very good at sewing and that's why she has a very good prestidigitation. She is smart and due to the preparation for the games she learned how to use knives and an axe. But the games made her ignorant and ungracious.
Family: She had a younger and a older brother, Marve and Jocus. She loved both of them and tried everything to get them food, water, etc. Her parents both worked in the textil factory just like Tink and Jocus too. They weren't rich, so they lived in a place with a kitchen and two more rooms.
Win: She got reaped when she was 15 and the boy coincidentally was her younger brother Marve. She teamed up with him and the two of them did quite well for a 13 and 15 year old. They never really killed anyone until the day when Tink came back to their lair and found her brother being stabbed by a 18 year old boy. She got very angry and brutally murdered him. Since this day were only 6 tributes left. Tink, the two from District 1, the girls from 7 and 4 and the boy from 10. She waited a bit until the two from 1 killed the girl from 7 and the boy from 10 and then she went out to kill them. Only her and the girl from 4 were left now and they had a battle at the cornucopia, which she won and in which she got her scar.
(Any other people that want to join in? This roleplay is closed after the second page. We have 4 girls, 2 guys.)
I want to join! Here's my character:
Name: Sparky Stevenson
Age: 21
District: 3
Looks: Thin, red hair, quick
Personality: Cunning, Sly, truthful (the cold, harsh, truth) and loves to joke
Family: Orphan, 13 siblings who he hates.
Win: His siblings made a pact to volunteer if one of them got chosen. Sparky did get chosen, but when he did his siblings ditched him. He learned how to use explosives at age 14, his age when he was first chosen. If he has to use a weapon he uses spears and knives. He learned how to reactivate the starting plates, and make bombs from scratch. He won when led the other tributes into an explosive trap. Only one survived, but that person had killed the female tribute, one of his friends from school, so he crushed his skull.
He then kept the winnings to himself, and left his siblings on the streets as his revenge.
I have an idea for the arena. How about a bunch of floating islands. The cornucopia is on the centre island, and you use teleporters or bridges to get from island to island. Each tribute starts on their own little island from where they have to get to the cornucopia.
Do we need all 24 tributes to start RP-ing?
I hope its not too late to join.
I would like to join. :)
Name: Samiel Allona
Female
extremely short, long curly blonde hair, pale gold eyes, light freckles, pointed ears.
Has to use crutches, her right foot is twisted horribly.(wears a large black sock over it)
Kind, shy.
She is quiet but has a quick temper when provoked, feels a need to prove herself, (especially when it concerns her foot), talk bad about her, she probably wont care, but talk bad about her friends, she will hate you for the rest of time.
District 5.
I guess we'll just ignore the other tributes or include killing them in our Role-Playing
What if, once our characters die, we play as another tribute? or would that be too confusing?
Let's start. Ok, since some people agreed to the whole floating islands thing, I'm going to start with that. We have our characters: Two from district 3, 2 from 4, 1 from 5, 1 from 1, 1 from 8, and 1 undetermined (Cress Aukai, I think from 4?) and the NPC tributes. All 24 stand on podiums with a bridge and a teleporter. The bridge leads to the cornucopia, and the teleport leads to a random floating island. They all have mystery packs, with a teleportation activator, a random weapon, and other gear. 20 seconds.
Tink sighed. What was this? Last time they just stood on a big hill. But this, how was she supposed to get from the island? A pack was next to her. She opened it and found some sort of machine. The other tributes opened their packs too. But nobody seemed to understand what this should be used for. Then she spotted the bridge.
Sabra watched the others with disdain, eager to get out of this hellhole and back to his daughter. What was the point of these Games, anyway? They were a death sentence, not an enjoyment.
Irvine was done for. She couldn't remember exactly why she even volunteered for her first Hunger Games anyways. It was a miracle she survived just a first couple days, let alone win. It seemed like she had just gotten out of it too. Just three years ago. Why did they have to bring her back in? Why not someone new, someone fresh?
Vi knew that she couldn't use the same tactic as she did in her first Games. There was no doubt that these other tributes had studied the other players and improved their own skills. She wondered if she could just make a couple true alliances. She wasn't one to break a promise, but she was sure that others probably would.
Arrow had just won LAST year! She was only 13 now. She didn't have time to dwell on that now though.
She opened her pack and saw a teleporter. Someone had installed one in her home the week before. She had an advantage, she strapped the mini version to her wrist and got to the cornucopia. No one else had figured out what it was yet. She grabbed two packs, and a bow and arrow. She teleported back before she could get killed, when she had materialized she took off to the woods behind her.
Seeing that one of the tributes–whom she recognized from last year, Arrow Shine–had already made it to the Cornucopia, Irvine got her head back into the game. Behind, Vi recognized the thing in her pack as a teleporter. But she didn't know how to use it. Also in the pack was a small dagger. Great, she could definitely use this to her advantage, being an expert at knife-throwing.
Tapping at the teleporter randomly, she materalized at the edge of the island, almost falling off to her death. She got her balance and bolted to grab a sack of knives and a pack that she had no idea what was inside. She stuffed the two things in the original pack, except for one knife, which she kept ready in her hand. Arrow had already grabbed the bow and arrows, so Vi couldn't get those. On the other side of the Cornucopia, she spotted a jug of water. There were already tributes figuring their way to the Cornucopia, so she sprinted to the water, grabbed hold of it, then teleported to a different island, full of forests and hills, making sure it was not the same one that Arrow had already ran into. Vi wasn't ready to get killed this early, nor was she ready to kill.
Arrow sprinted to the middle of the forest, to a clearing. She climbed on of the tree's and looked through her packs. In the first bag she found a jug of water, water purifier, beef jerky, a nut mix, and a dried plums. In the second she found a sleeping bag, rope, fire starter, and a plant identification book. In the teleporter bag she found a small knife. She sighed, she would make it through the night.
A teleporter. Smart. Tink pressed some buttons and got to the cornucopia. But at the same time a boy, maybe 14, teleported a bit away from her. She sprinted to grab at least something. She got a bagpack, a knive and an axe. The boy was right behind her as she turned and she recognized him as Wered Jammer, who won two years ago. He was still so young. But Tink knew that she should grab her chance and took a swing with the axe. The boy cringed on the ground and bled really much. Tink teleported away and materialized near the forest. She ran just towards it. She heard the cannon. Wered was probably the one who died and she had already murderd someone.
Arrow heard someone coming and hid in the tree. She readied her bow.
Cress ran across his island, he had to find fresh water first, that was what he'd learnt the hard way in his first games. He was lucky, within the hour he found a small stream that flowed and didn't have a hint of salt. He put some in a bottle that he found in his pack. Finally he looked through his pack and was glad to find a hunting knife, he was good with knifes. But there could be something better.
He went around the edge of the island trying to find some way to cross to other islands that he'd seen in the sea water. There it was, a bridge, he started to run across it, seeing the cornucopia on the other island, it seemed a bloodbath, but he had trained with these people. If needed he could hold himself before running, or swimming away, depending on who was chasing him.
At the cornucopia, Luke grabbed a spear and a few more knives. Just as he got them a boy from 12 attacked him, he made quick work of the younger boy, who'd only just won a few years ago. He had no time for guilt, he ran back towards the bridge he came from picking up a large backpack and a small string bag as he ran. No one seemed to pay too much attention to him, all caught up in their own battles.
