In the land of Utaria, a country with similarities to Venice, medieval France, Prague, Belgium, and Renaissance Italy, our characters are staying a large hospital and rehabilitation center for amnesiacs (as either patients, doctors, nurses, or visiting loved ones). When a suspicious doctor alters the treatement of a few characters, they begin to remember what was meant to be forgotten, and begin planning a desperate escape before their death warrants are signed, literally. What is really happening behind the scenes of St. Perpetuaria's Hospital for Amnesiacs, and why do they want you to forget?
Hello everyone! This rp idea is coming from a short story/possibly novel or comic that I'm currently working on, please join! The rules are:
-No IRL hate
-No controlling other people's characters
-This is operating on a three strikes you're out system
-Don't be rude and put down other people or their characters
-No Mary/Gary Sues or OP characters
-No godmodding
-Limited powers allowed, no elemental powers, please be more specific than just 'water powers'. Powers that any charactrers might have shouldn't be very strong or powerful
-Censor swearing
-Romance allowed, no sexually explicit content
-Age range is 14-20

Utaria's setting is basically around the Renaissance period, mostly deserts, plains, a few mountains, and limited greenery. I'll put up more descriptions about the geography later on once some poeple join, but the land is divided up into five provinces: Markul, Praana, Wellori, Cezza, and Dani, each with a large capital. Markul is the desert and plains province , a trade center, Praana is the farming province, Wellori is the province with the most freshwater and greenery, Cezza is in a mountain range, and Dani is an oceanside fishery/navy province.

Alright, so basically the Hospital is a corrupt government project that was made to remove the memories of anyone even loosely connected to anyone who accidentally witnessed the evidence of an illegal practice (which will be revealed later) that the Hospital was involved in. The Hospital has technology unheard of in even our 18th century, and used it to systematically hunt down people connected to the even and give them amnesia, which they staged as a pure coincidence. When the people came to the hospital to be treated and get their memories back, any trace of that event was removed from their brain before they were set free. Now, a specific group of people (our characters) were deemed ‘Unfixable’ and are secretly scheduled to be killed.
