Vincent looked back at the building, it was the least renovated of all of them but it was homely, He smiled faintly, "This building may not look like much but it was my haven first year, It tends to be quite, not many people come here. It's open past curfew and the librarian doesn't really care what you do in here as long as it's not to disruptive, If you find a corner or a nook all to your self you could even tinker with that hunk of mettle ." He pointed at the stairs, I usually went to the roof to read but when it rains I usually hang out on the third floor It's the fantasy section, the majority of the fantasies are on the first floor but it's all main stream on the third floor there's Tolkien and Shakespeare, more of the classics."
Vincent cut it, "As I have said I am Vincent I come from a long line of Vincents and I am the only one who can absorb energy and heat, You may be thinking, what is that, basically it's ice powers, Yes I am a Male Elsa with dashingly good looks and yes I am really this fabulous." Vince saw Alice leave out of the corner of his eye and he grabbed a role and stood up, "If you will excuse me I feel I have been issued a challenge." He shoved the roll into his mouth and went after her. "Aeriphina don't ruin my image!"
Aeraphina waited until Vincent was out of hearing range to say, "Yeah, don't expect anything from him. He's normally extremely annoying. Only thing he's good for is puns and chips." She cracked her knuckles and began sorting out her food to eat it. "Anyway, like I said earlier, super cool powers. Aren't you excited about the headmaster? Can you believe it? The headmaster of the school is a real live, famous superhero. He's been idol since like, I was little."
"Uh, who is he?" Evie asked stupidly. She really didn't know anything about this place.
"You don't know Nightslayer? Haven't you ever heard about him on the news? He's like a word class superhero," Aeraphina exclaimed, slightly surprised.
Cicada chuckled, "Yeah even I know about him. And I hardly spent a year in the same place."

Alex nodded as she considered the advice. It could be better. Alex figured she could probably renovate the place and make it better. She had high expectations for this school, some of them were failing her. "Ok first off, it's not a hunk of mettle, thats a secret project and don't touch my backpack, second thanks, I'll think about it." Alice replied.
(It would be cool if there was some sort of power outage or something because Alice could fix it pretty quickly.)
"I… I only came here a week ago," Evie admitted through a faint whisper. "Everything is still so new to me."
Cicada smiled and nodded, "It's fine. Are you adjusting well?"
Vincent held up his hands, "I wouldn't invade your personal belongings, Also." He tossed a broken calculator to Alice, "Do you think you could do something about that? the model's not easy to come by and I've had it sense forever, I can pay you if you want I just really love that thing."
"I-I guess… I like being able to use my powers without getting-" hit. "-in trouble."
Cicada nodded and smiled, “It is nice isn’t it?”
"You have no idea." That slipped out. Evie covered her mouth in horror.
Cicada was starting to peice a puzzle together. She simply chose to keep smiling, “Oh I might.”
“Fifteen foster homes,” Cicada said emphasizing the number, “Every one of them hated me.”
Aeraphina squinted, smiling uncomfortably. Having been the only one she knew who actually grew up on the island surrounded by fellow superhero folk, hearing the tales of outsiders not so accepting of superheroes didn't keep her in the best mood.
Evie looked down, where her powers swirled in her lap.

Vincent popped up into the conversation, He had left Alice and come back in time to here what they were talking about. "I was never really discriminated against because of my powers, in fact my parents thought they would be great for marketing they thought they could sell my powers like they did weapons and jewelry. They're problem was I just wasn't smart enough or, perfect enough and I just wouldn't let them sell my powers like it was something they had control over."
Aeraphina clicked her tongue and just decided to start eating, knowing it wasn't her place to be in this conversation.
Evie stayed silent. She wasn't about to spill her personal past to these people.
Vincent gave Aeraphina a knowing look, "Basically what we're trying to say is you would be surprised at what you find at this school, I mean You're right we probably don't have any idea, you've probably been through some terrifying stuff It's in your eye's I don't need mind powers to tell. Any way onto a lighter subject Cicada you will be happy to hear that Aeraphina and I have agreed on something."
Aeraphina looked up suddenly, raising an eyebrow. "We have…?"
Vincent nodded dramatically
Evie glanced up, her lips pressed together tightly.
"We!" He paused dramatically, "Enjoy the same flavor of chip!" he ended with a flourish
