"How?" he asked in surprise about how quick he got rid of the smoke.
"How?" he asked in surprise about how quick he got rid of the smoke.
She nodded. "Just- just a broken arm, minor to what some other people got." She lied. "But what if they die?"
"they will e okay" he said then to his other roomate "remeber i lived with a mom and a sister who cant cook"
She leaned against the counter. "But some of the injuries were pretty bad- from what I heard."
"yeah, i do." he said.
"ugh i have a spliting head ache" he groans
"What's wrong?" She asked, concerned.
"Want some medicine for it?" he asked.
"probably sleep deprivation imma head to bed"
"Night." She said
"night and dont worry about your friend im sure there fuine"
" Night." he said then got off the counter and threw away the burnt pasta.
She nodded. "I'm going to go binge watch… something." She said, going back to her room.
" I am just going to go to my room." he said then walked to his room and shut the door.
She got in her hero costume so she'd be ready to do rounds later, before sitting on her bed and starting up Friends on her computer.
After a few hours he stepped out of his room noticing no one in the living room, then he grabbed his jacket and keys and walked out.
She stood quietly as ten o'clock hit, slipping out her window.
He just went for a walk, there was mostly nobody out there.
She hopped along a few close rooftops (mainly for the fun of it), looking around.
He walked through downtown he had headphones and music playing so he didn't have to listen to the outdoors.
She dropped down in an alley, softly singing a song she tended to sing absently as she made her way through town. "The old man’s been stealing… She’s holding her grievance for a hundred-odd years… We all keep believing… That history repeats itself year after year…"
He felt someone tap on his shoulder all of a sudden and slowly he took out a headphone and turned around.
She looked around a corner, still singing to herself. "Wait-"
He felt himself being pushed into a nearby alley, the guy asked for his wallet but he had forgot it back at the apartment so the guy started beating him up.
She slipped in, blinding the mugger. "Honestly, I didn't think someone would beat up someone for leaving their wallet home, yet here we are."
