(Is Dumbledore still alive???? Can he still be alive???)
(Is Dumbledore still alive???? Can he still be alive???)
(Why not)
(Yay Dumbledore is hilarious.)
The teacher narrowed his eyes at the silent class. "This won't do. I expect an answer when I address myself directly to my students."
(I'm not sure any of us can do him justice though…)
Estelle had already decided that she liked this teacher. He appeared to be no-nonsense, rather like herself.
(ikr)
Dashti was surprised. This was NOT the same teacher.
"Sir, yes sir" the class chorused hastily, hoping to appease the new teacher.
"Good. I am Evan Laurens, your new Charms teacher." He turned to the wall, expecting to find a white board and chalk. "This is completely ridiculous," he muttered.
"First order of business, I'd like everyone to put away any books." he continued, not flustered in the least.
Dash quickly put away her books, not wanting to get on the professor's bad side.
Put away their books?! Estelle wasn't so sure she liked this teacher anymore, but she gingerly placed her massive stack of books on the floor next to her, exchanging a curious glance with Ella.
Laurens caught the swift, nervous movements of a girl in the middle row, with short wavy black hair. Was she scared of him? A flicker of a smile passed across his face.
"Please, all students in their 3rd year and above take out your wands."
Ella looked over at Estelle curiously. This was going to fun.
Dash pulled out her wand, waiting for instructions.
He looked around the room again. "Wands, pair up with the non-wands." He paced the room. "We are going to do a quick practical review of a few simple charms you should all be able to do."
Dash paired up with a two-year who was sitting in front of her.
(should we wait for @BookAddict?)
Ella stood and paired up with Estelle.
(shrugs I think so)
(sorry guys. i'm back)
Estelle grinned at Ella across from her
(ok then. now we wait. how's Laurens? I'm not too good at handling adults)
(oh wait ok)
(@amber, what year are you?)
(He's pretty darn scary. Good job!! claps)
