Ella squealed. "They sound absolutely adorable." She sighed happily. "So, what's your house?"
Ella squealed. "They sound absolutely adorable." She sighed happily. "So, what's your house?"
(Hey can I join?)
sure
Dashti smiled. "They are adorable." She agreed. "Um…. Gryffindor. You?"
Ella's grin slipped a little. She turned back to her book. "I'm a Hufflepuff. Well, I hope that the teacher gets here soon so we can get started," she said, shuffling papers.
(K thanks, my character is Estelle: Estelle Jones)
Estelle hurried through the empty corridors, her pulse racing. She was late for charms!
When Estelle reached the half-open door to the charms classroom she cast a quick disillusionment charm over herself and slipped inside, moving slowly towards the back of the classroom.
When Estelle reached the back desk she muttered the counter-curse and sat down.
Dashti nodded. "Can I ask you a question? Why do you not like Gryffindors?" Trying not to come on too strong, but not understanding why the girl suddenly lost her smile at Dashti's house.
Ella turned to her anxiously. She didn't want to seem prejudiced to this perfectly nice girl. "What are you talking about?"
"Your smile faltered. Usually the cause of prejudice about another person. I'm sorry if I made you feel nervous or uncomfortable. I have an eye for small details and tend to point them out often. Sorry." Dashti explained.
Ella shook her head. "Don't worry about it. It's, um, a long story. I'm sorry, I'll get over it, you've been nothig but nice so far."
Dash nodded. "I get it."
Leaning forward, Estelle jumped into the conversation. "Hey, I'm Estelle!"
Ella smiled. "Thanks."
And just then the teacher walked in.
Dashti snapped her head to attention. Then she whispered. "Nice to meet you Estelle!"
"Thanks, you too!" Estelle smiled. She had been working on her social skills (which she rather lacked) over the holidays and was glad to have successfully joined into the conversation.
(are we having the actual teachers like Professor Flitwick or are we making them up)
Ella discreetly waved at Estelle and turned to the front, sitting straight up in her chair. The teacher stopped at his desk and turned to face the class.
(wait who's playing the teacher)
(I suggest making them up so that we don't get too confuzzled. But if you would rather not, that's fine with me.)
(I think it'd be cool to make them up. We can each play a teacher?)
(sounds good to me)
(so can I do this teacher? the charms teacher?)
(I second that.)
(Sure @Amber.)
The teacher walked up to the front and turned to the class. His gaze swept the room. "Good afternoon, class," he called out coolly.
Dashti smiled. This was going to be interesting.
