Skye wanted to stay in bed. She had heard that homework will be increased drastically, she dragged herself out of her warm bed to start the day.

It was Nolan's first class of the day, and he was excited. The class was Defense Against the Dark Arts with the second year Slytherins. They were supposed to be practicing Stupefy and Protego, but Nolan's partner had other ideas. It was Nolan's turn to try and stupefy his older, Slytherin partner, but before he could cast the spell, his partner yelled, "Sectumsempra!". Before he knew it, he was on his back and his ears were ringing. Some of his Hufflepuff classmates gathered around him. They were saying something… he couldn't hear them due to the ringing. Then he was being carried to the hospital wing. (Should Skye be like, in the hallway or smthn?)

Skye walked down the hospital to see… Nolan getting carried tot he hospital wing? She frowned, she went to the library for 10 minutes before going to the hospital wing to visit Nolan.

Now the nurse was doing some sort of spell. Nolan glanced down at his chest, and his breath caught in his throat. I'm covered in blood! Oh, no… what happened? He started to feel lightheaded, as he didn't care much for blood. Just look away… you're fine… it hurts, a lot…. but I'm fine.

(Oh yeah pfft. I’m smart. And not tired.)
Skye knocked on the door.

The nurse opened the door. "Yes, Skye?" She sighed. "Do you need something? We're a bit busy with Nolan. There was an incident with their dueling in DADA." Nolan turned his head towards the door. "Skye…?"

“I want to visit Nolan.”

"Alright." The nurse showed Skye in and gestured towards Nolan's bed, where a couple Hufflepuff first years were. The Slytherin responsible was supposedly being lectured somewhere. While the nurse had been talking to Skye, the other nurse had bandaged Nolan's chest. "I want you to stay in here at least until lunch, do you understand?" Nolan nodded, sighing a bit. Great, I'm already confined to the hospital wing on my first day of school.

“How much pain are you?” Skye asked Nolan, looking at his bandages chest.

"Eh, some… I'm not entirely sure what happened, actually." One of the other Hufflepuffs piped up. "It was Tyler! Before you could use Stupefy, he used some spell called… what was it? I think it was Sectumsempra." "Sectumsempra? What's that?" The other Hufflepuff shrugged.

“Sectumsempra?” Skye repeated, then she furrowed her eyebrows and hissed, “This Tyler used sectumsempra on you?”

Gentle footsteps walk through the hospital wing. Xavier, in his slytherin glory halts in front of Nolan, his eyes concerned. "You okay kid?" He asks softly. "The second year was taken care of, so no worries…" He mutters curses under his breath.

Skye frowned, she wanted to go and yell at Tyler. But that wouldn’t be the smartest thing to do, would it? No. She’ll just yell at him when the time was right. Timing. That was important. Timing is a very important thing, there’s a reason why patience is a virtue.

Xavier sits at Nolan's bed side, shaking his head, "Unbelievable. That kid I swear…" he sighs softly.

Skye was so swallowed in her thoughts that she didn’t realize Xavier was there too. When she finally got pulled back to the real world, she saw him. “Oh hey Xavier.”

He nods, "Hello, Skye." He looks at the wand in his hand. He shakes his head before standing and starting to pace.
