Silver thread, flapping wings, black silk She looked at the boy, "How do I explain this? Um… the paths they are closing rapidly." Madelyn whispered, "The future it's being written, right now."

@AvaM_Star

"We are being forced down a path," Madelyn tapping her foot, "Everything is important even if it's not, and everything is what it isn't." there is a pause wile she tries to the collect her thoughts. "I don't have a better way to explain this, but the future is normally written in pencil…it's subjected to change, but right now someone is using a pen."

@AvaM_Star

"I don't know what it means just that it's happening." Madelyn said looking around and finally seeing the alcove up the staircase with a small table covered in a bight red cloth. "But someone here might."

@AvaM_Star

"Why not?" Madelyn laughed a little before starting to make her way across the staircase and twisted the mask back around to cover her face. This is already a disaster.

Thanatos entered the hall, his black toga swishing at his feet, swaying back and forth with every step. The ornate golden bracelets that run up his arms glitter in the lighting of the ball room. Securing his mask to his face he plunged into the crowd, ignoring the glances at his flaming blue hair and eyes, he was here on a mission after all, best not to be distracted.

Oliver listened quietly as the red clad girl spoke, frowning when he heard talk about the future. Everything she was saying was a little cryptic and confusing, and all that seemed to do was remind him of the way his father, the Blue Caterpillar, would speak. When 'Lyn' took off in another direction, he decided to follow along a few paces behind, looking around for any sign of ashy curls. Surely Cyprus would be at the party too.

Broken glass, onyx blade, turning pages. "Were running out for time," She whispered pushing her way though the crowd a little faster as the bells on her hat began to sing a more panicked song in tune with every step she took.

@AvaM_Star

"No," Madelyn didn't like magic being used on her, "It's not that far." She started to jump around people moving faster. The bells started move and sing in a more codilnated pattern as she danced though the crowd.

Reyna's attention was drawn away by the sound of panicked bells and she reluctantly moved with Theta to the side. "I'm sorry," she apologized. "Something's caught my attention - I have to go. It was lovely meeting you, I hope to see you again sometime." With that, she slipped off towards the sound.

//@WritingGale this should give you a chance to let Theta follow her?

Madelyn made her way over to the fortune teller's table. She pulled out the seat directly across the table from Lady Cassandra. Before Madelyn could even even ask a question she was confronted with, "Now why would someone like you need advice from some one like me?" The question stoped Madelyn in her tracks.

@AvaM_Star

(Sorry I was working on my NANO project)

"Hmm, never thought I have one of your kind come to ask me for advice. Arn't all damn near omniscient beings?" Lady Cassandra teased, "So why do you need the advice of a lowly soothsayer?"

"I'm sorry to disappoint, but I don't think any mortal could claim to be omniscient," Madelyn said back, "and I need help understanding what it, this," She gesture around the party, "means, but most importantly I want information on where my father is."

@AvaM_Star

"Not the time for bonding." Madelyn mumbled as she looked at Cassandra, "So you going tell me or not?"

"Afraid I can't, little one," She smiled shuffling her tarot cards, "That kind of information is above my pay grade, But may be I could give you a clue on were to go next." She passed Madelyn a card and set the rest of the deck in the middle of the table.

Madelyn turned the card over, "The World, what does this mean?"

"I couldn't say I'm just the messenger, but I'm certain it will come to you." She smiled, "Just a reminder the things you are seeing, hearing, and all other types of sensing should help you chose the right path."

"Wait!" Theta cried, frowning. Great… just one conversation and I drove a cute girl away. Just then, the faint discordant sound of bells came to her ears, and she frowned. "Something's going to happen," she whispered. "Oh, no, no, no, you're in terrible danger!" she cried, chasing after Reyna.
