Cade and Chelsea watched this scene from a tree branch overhead. Wow, Maddie as fearsome as ever.
Oliver heard Reyna calling through the woods and approached slowly, narrowing his eyes as he finally saw what was in front of him. Maddie. He stepped forward, his grip tightening on the bow in his hand as he restrained himself fro calling out her name.
Reyna glanced down at Oliver, then up at the twins. They were all watching carefully, see how this would turn out, see what would happen. Just like always - the supporting bystanders when one of their friends was being badass. She smirked. That man doesn’t know what’s coming for him, does he?
Poor man, he's so dead unless he's some god. But even then… Cade and Chelsea thought, smirking.
"To be honest, I would love to kill you," A cruel smiled curled from her mouth, "But that would end this game early." She pulled the blade away from his face to reach for something she kept tucked away. "You know I have trouble sleeping, for obvious reasons if you know anything about what happened to me. I've gotten better, but sometimes I need a little help." She held up the needle, "Specially designed not only to put you mind to sleep but also keep your body numb." She jabbed the needle into his neck and emptied the syringe. "Your a big man," she whispered as his eyes started to close, "It should wear off in maybe eight… ten hours rather than twenty four. I hope to resume this game under better circumstances." She let's go of his hair and let him topple over.
Good job, Maddie. Oliver thought, smirking as he chuckled lightly, continuing to watch her beat up the man. He glanced towards Reyna and the Cheshire twins, sharing the same looks as he looked back towards the fight.
Reyna began to quietly applaud, mouth pulling into a smile. “Congratulations, Maddie. You’ve delivered your first dramatic monologue.”
(I love how they all just standby and watch Maddie being a bad.. a. Butt. Posterior. Bottom.)
//ahaha
"Maybe not her first. . . she has always been giving me dramatic monologues." Oliver sighed, leaning against one of the trees as he continued to face Maddie. "But, well done."
“First dramatic monologue followed by the epic defeat of the enemy,” she corrected herself, rolling her eyes at Oliver.
"That was a good show." Chelsea and Cade smirked, jumping off of their branch. "Glad to have one of our team members back."
(Oof, I gtg.)
(Keep being a badass, Maddie.xD)
(Aw, cya!
xD)
"That is far from my first," she turned to her friends. "and It won't be my last." She sheathers her blades.
(She will continue
and it is now officially my birthday.)(Bye Nessie)

“I need you guys to stop proving me wrong.”
"How have we proved you wrong, Reyna?" Madelyn takes a deep breath, "I think we are just proving the quality of the residence of wonderland."
(thanks guys)(Nothing feels different… always such a let down)
“I- nevermind,”she grumbled, leaning back and looking up at Cade. And Chelsea. But mostly Cade.
“It astounds me how we landed on our feet without an injury.” Chelsea muttered to Cade, who was a bit distracted.
“You’re half-cat, it’s what you do,” Reyna grinned wryly, not moving from the spot in the tree. This one’s comfier than the other one anyways.
"I think we might want to start moving again,"She looked back at the man, "The jolly giant is not going to be so jolly when he wakes up." She put the needle back in side a small wood box, "This sleep aid, leaves you with a very bad headache when you finally wake up along with a few other side affects."
“Lovely.” Chelsea nodded.
“We now have two goals, which to do first?” Cade asked them.
