Oliver trotted out of the kitchen, drying his hands on a floury white rag. He jerked his head to the younger cashier, who smiled and went into the back. Oliver grinned up at the next customer and started to ring up their order.

(welp here I go sorry it sucks)
Grey pushed in the door to a rather active cafe, as a line had already formed at the order-taking counter. She sighed to herself and reluctantly got in line, noting the people directly around her. She shifted her bag slightly, the weight growing tiresome to carry and starting a cramp in her left shoulder. Rolling her eyes in annoyance, she shrugged off her temporary pain as she grew closer to being at the front of the line.
(I know I said I'd quit this earlier but I've been convinced that I needed to at least make an attempt before backing out. Sorry for any confusion…)
(Yayyyy)
(honestly I want to throw in a new gay only just to hug Josh XD)
Sora noticed the girl from before ordering another cup of tea. Personally, she prefered the rich flavor of coffee, but teas weren't bad either. Not that she's had many types. With her cup finally empty, she walked up to join the artistic woman from before. After ordering another coffee, she cast her gaze back onto the woman next to her. "Your humming was quite nice earlier," she complimented as she leaned against the counter, red waves rolling off from her shoulders.
Julia jumped a bit, turning to face the woman next to her. Had she really been that loud? She didn't think anybody could hear you. "O-oh, sorry… thank you though…" Her voice got quieter as she spoke, and her eyes kept flicking from the ground the the woman's face. Should I compliment her back? That's the right thing to do, right? "Y-your hair is nice, too. By the way."
Haven heard someone from up at the counter call her name. She turned her head before pushing herself up from her chair with a grunt, a dull ache shooting through her knee. She went over to the counter and took her coffee before stepping back over to her seat. She took a quick drink of it, pleased and relieved by the heat of the coffee.
Grey waved at the barista (Oliver) at the counter as she approached to order finally. "Just iced mocha, please. Nothing else on it," she attempted a smile at the guy to be a polite customer, her wallet already out and ready to pay once she was rung up.
Oliver grinned up at her. “Sure, coming up.” He stuck out his hand. “It’s going to be five thirty-four.”
(Also sorry for these ass responses xD)
(I'll be back after my test and spanish club)
(Probably wont be on for the rest of the night fyi, have practice and then will be busy tonight. Happy halloween all)
(okay, happy halloweeeeen)
(Happy Halloween!!!) (i'm also contemplating if I want to switch my character hhhhh)
Grey nodded and pulled out a five and a one to pay for her drink, smiling out a polite "Thank you" before retreating to one of the few dwindling empty two-person table to wait for her order to be called. With a relieved sigh, she finally shrugged off her bag and placed it under the table between her feet.

"No need for apologies, you sounded lovely. And thank you," Sora said with a warm smile. Drumming her fingers lightly on the counter top, she wondered about what the woman before her was like. She seemed shy, enjoyed art, liked tea over coffee, and liked singing or humming at least.
"Not a coffee person, hm?" She asked, trying to spur conversation.

Josh could hear groups beginning to form and friendly conversations starting, but his social battery was so completely and utterly drained that he couldn’t imagine going up to someone and saying ‘hi’, let alone conversing. “I feel like a 6/10…. I’ve got to eat up early tomorrow again..”, he started to sing to himself as quietly as possible, making sure his headphones were fitted snuggly over his ears and taking a sip of his delicious chocolate-y mocha. ”A nod of pity for the plain girl…”
