Claire's phone slipped from her grasp. "Oh darn." she said, bending to pick it up. Fingering the sides of the blue case she bit her lip as she flipped it over. "Uhh!' she groaned, as she saw a long crack running down the front. She moved to stand up. Thwack! She hit her head on the door-handle of the coffee shop she was standing in front of. "Oh my great flippin' flapjacks!" Suddenly she heard a low laugh coming from behind her.
(Is claire straight? @Sorceress Can Ezra be with Kenzie? I'd love to see how that dynamic plays out.)
(poor Amber is still over here all alone XD)
Claire is straight, but perhaps you can change her mind.
(No no it's okay. Just wondering so we can edit the list.)
Ok, good. Was a little nervous writing that.
(I'll bring Ezra into this now.)
Ezra was peacefully reading his book in the corner of the cafe and sipping on his peppermint hot cocoa when the person cried out. He shrunk back in his seat. He hadn't noticed the extra people until the person had mentioned it. He relaxed a little until a cry of, "Oh my great flippin flapjacks!" broke his concentration.
At this point he could no longer take it. He set his book down with his drink and walked over to the girl at the door. He put a hand on her shoulder. "Are you alright?" he asked
(Ezra sounds freaking awesome :D)
(I forgot to say, thank you so much! I totally agree. He's one of my favorite characters that I have. These rps are kind of his test run cause I'm strongly considering having him in one of my books somewhere.)
(here's something you should know about test running characters by putting them in an RP: It's so fun! It let's you connect with your own character and develop them even more than you thought you could. But at the same time, it can be a bit difficult to get your character to have a solid personality, as characters often change depending on the RP.)
(That's a good point. One of the reasons I rp is to learn how to be consistent with a character and let the story bend with them not the other way around. It's good to learn how they react to different things. Do you want Ezra to confront Amber or)
(I usually let my story bend the character, but different stories will shape your character in different ways. Also if you want Ezra to confront Amber, go for it, it doesn't matter to me lol)
(Alrighty. might as well since you're the only one on. Give me a sec)
The girl looked so shocked and distressed so Ezra decided to leave her be and headed over to a fairly "normal looking" person. He walked up to her and sat down. Realizing how rude this was, he quickly stood up and asked, "May I sit here?"
Amber looked up from her cup of coffee, then shrugged. "Yeah, go for it." She took a sip of the bitter liquid. It was far too hot, and burned her tongue. Amber made a face.
Seeing this, Ezra asked, "You alright there?" When she nodded, Ezra continued. "It is kind of weird that so many people turn up today. I see that young man over there almost every day with the occasional stranger. I guess it must just be coincidence or something. I'm Ezra by the way."
(An RP rule is to not control another person's character, just a heads up)
"I'm Amber. I've never been here before," she admitted. She suddenly felt a bit self-conscious in her dress. "And I don't usually look like this. I actually love hoodies and jeans more than anything."
(An RP rule is to not control another person's character, just a heads up)
(yeah sorry. about that. I can change it if you want.)
(It's fine lol I'm not mad or anything)
//what have i missed?
Alina stood and swerved through the new people in the room. She dumped her coffee cup in the trash and slowly started inching for the door.
//am I still alone in a corner
