So I am writing a fantasy now and it is about a deal made by pirates to fairies. The fairies may live in peace but if are caught by a pirate, must follow the pirate's every request. However, pirates can only have one fairy each. They may not harm fairies in the wild. There are four types of fairies. Fire, water, air, and earth. In the wild, fairies can evolve into a combination of another. If caught by a pirate, they cannot evolve. This is why most pirates wait to catch an evolved fairy with more power. I will post a character outline. Also an evolution sheet to help.

Personality: Generally pretty timid, but also a sense of curiosity that can get him in trouble. He's sweet and caring to those he trusts, and terrified by the stories of fairies being taken by pirates.
Interests: He loves animals, and is easily distracted by colorful or unfamiliar things
Talents: Finding things and making others happy. He's also skilled at flying, and is very graceful. He can create breeze, and gusts of wind when he's older. He hasn't reached the full extent of his power.
Fears: Being taken by pirates and big people. Being so small, he is intimidated by large things.
Background: His life is fairly uneventful, tbh. Both his parents are alive, and nothing bad has really happened (yet)

Background: He and his sister went into the pirate life when he was 9 and she was 12. She slipped in a storm and is thought to be dead but that hasn't been confirmed.

Appearance: Light lapis hair, long, flowing, almost to her hips, azure eyes, light skin, see-through sapphire wings with intricate swirl details, with long flowing tips on the end of the wings
Personality: Kind, loving, fair, does not believe in the fairy deal but is too afraid to stand up against it.
Interests: Is fascinated by rays in the sea, loves the smooth gentle way they move
Talents: Healing (even a pirate once)
Fears: Being captured, fire fairies
Background: When she was little, her mother and father were both captured by one pirate, a captain, which is illegal. She was raised by her grandmother, a vapor fairy, until she passed away of old age. Her grandmother loved eagle rays, and would take her to the reef as much as possible to watch them. After she passed, Marilla still went to the reef to watch the rays. One day, she saw a man on the shore, passed out with pain. It was a pirate, stabbed by his own kind. She healed him and once he awoke, she was gone. But she stole a compass from him, fascinated by the way it's arrow spun. She still has it.
