(It may end up like trash- ok no
Yeah just a sec)
Lata felt her cheeks begin to burn a bit. This was her soul mate. She was at least glad that he was polite. People without manners really ticked her off.
"Hi," she greeted back awkwardly.“Hi,” Chris said. It dawned on him that he had said that already. “Sorry…. just… um…. you know.”
Lata nodded dumbly. "Yeah. I can't believe today's the day that we'd meet."
"So… tell me about yourself," she offered, trying to encourage conversation. It really was like what everyone said. Shocking and amazing all at once. An experience to remember for sure. Smiling, she turned to sit facing Chris. She stared into his eyes as she waited for a response. They were a much lighter amber color. They were beautiful…
“Um, I’m… me. I’m pretty much an introvert most of the time. Big fan of the Percy Jackson series. Oh! Speaking of which, would you… I mean… you don’t have to… but, if you want… Do you want to? Come with me to the convention being held. For the remake of the movies,” Chris said nervously, a blush creeping up his cheeks. “Sorry. I’m nervous.” He grinned sheepishly.
Lata giggled a bit at his awkwardness, after all, she felt quite nervous as well.
"Sure I'll come. I've never had the chance to get into that series… it sounds really interesting," she reassured Chris. It also seemed like it would be fun. So many people were supposed to be going.
“Oh! Yay! Just so you know, this is like my first, um, date, so…” Chris said.
Lata blushed, not realizing that he considered this a date.
“Oh. Sorry. It, um, doesn’t have to be a, you know, date.”
"N-no it's fine," she stuttered. "I… wouldn't mind it. If it were, you know."
“That-that would be really nice if you, but…… my dad wouldn’t like it.” He’d probably cut me or worse.
Mila raised an eyebrow and leaned forward. "And what would that mean" she asked cautiously, not able to hold it in an longer.
Morrigan swallowed. “Nothing.”, she lied.
"N-no it's fine," she stuttered. "I… wouldn't mind it. If it were, you know."
“Oh! Okay. Cool. I… I mean… okay. Yeah. I need to calm down.”
"N-no it's fine," she stuttered. "I… wouldn't mind it. If it were, you know."
“Oh! Okay. Cool. I… I mean… okay. Yeah. I need to calm down.”
Lata laughed nervously again. "Me too."
Her mind was buzzing with a million thoughts at once. She didn't want to screw this up after all.

“Alright. So. I may want to be getting home…” Chris gestured distractedly at the sky. “Um. Can I… is it alright if… can I have your number?” He blushed.

Lata looked up with his gesture, realizing it was getting a bit late. The question he asked however made her feel a bit bashful.
"Oh, uh yeah. Sure," she replied, fumbling for her phone. Having it in her hands, it then slipped and plopped onto the ground. Lata picked it back up, opening the new contact page for Chris to fill out after she gave him her phone number.
"It's {insert number}."
