“Yum! Do you cook then?”
“Yum! Do you cook then?”
"Just a bit," Mila admitted. "My stepfather is a chef."
(I have to GO NOOOOW
im chanelling the moody blues)
(Aw bye ):
“I like to bake, but I don’t really cook much.”
"Sure!" He called, heading downstairs. "What's up?"
“My parents.” Cassian said, gesturing towards the two adults next to him, his face was pink.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Auden," he said politely, offering a hand.
“Oh wow, such nice manners this young boy.” Mrs. Auden whispered a bit too loudly, taking his hand and shaking it firmly.
“Nice to meet you.” Mr. Auden said sternly, shaking Estin’s hand after his wife had gone.
“Son, I didn’t know you were gay.” Mrs. Auden whispered, again a bit too loudly.
Cassian face flushed more red than the Lucian crest. “Well… uh… surprise?” Cassian said weakly, “I’m gay.”
“Congratulations.” Mrs. Auden and Mr. Auden said at the same time, smiling. They suspected it a little.
“Sweetheart, go buy a cake.” Mrs. Auden said.
“A rainbow cake.” Mr. Auden chuckled, Mrs. Auden rolled chuckled too.
“Dad!” Cassian said.
“Now Cassian dear, go and bring your boyfriend upstairs, I’ll prepare dinner.” Mrs. Auden instructed, waving to her husband as he went to buy the rainbow cake.
“M-Mom! He’s not my boy-“ Cassian protested.
“Well he’s gonna be.” Mrs. Auden said bluntly.
“B-M-Ughshsfksm.” Cassian groaned, “Up we go, Estin.” He said, dragging himself upstairs. He would need a month of binge-watching and reading ro recover from that embarrassing event.
Estin laughed at the exchange, following Cassian upstairs. "Your mom's not wrong," he said, nudging the brunette.
“Oh shush.” Cassian said, his face in his bed.
"Won't you, though?" He teased, sitting down on the edge of the bed. "Be my boyfriend, I mean."
“Well if you ask, maybe.” Cassian said through the pillow.
“Aren’t I asking right now?”
“Pfft. I guess.”
“Is that a yes or a no?”
Cassian sat up, “A yes.”
He smiled broadly. “I guess you should officially meet my mom now.”
“Just hearing that makes me nervous.” Cassian said, falling back on his bed.
“Come onnnn,” he said, tugging at Cassian’s arm. “She’s a lovely woman.”
“I haven’t even had dinner yet.” Cassian grumbled.
“You had crackers five minutes ago,” he rolled his eyes.
“But my mom is cooking steak. And my bed is warm.”
“We’re not exactly spending three years at her house, you know.”
“Oh right she’s next door.”
“Did you forget?” He laughed.
