Appearance: Taran looks like she doesn't belong on earth. She has long silver hair, dyed of course, but it was originally black. Her skin is very pale, almost white, and at times makes her look like she's a vampire. She has high cheekbones, plump lips, and a straight nose. She is beautiful, but gives off a stay away aura. She has deep gray eyes, which, framed by her long black eyelashes, looks more silver than gray. She wears as little makeup as possible, because, with her sensitive skin, it causes her, more often than not, to break out in a rash. She is curvy and slender, and about 5'6''. She has a tattoo of a howling wolf on her collarbone, and a tattoo of a serpent weaving around her back and abdomen, all the way to her shoulder, where its head comes out on her left shoulder. She keeps her nails long, and will paint them with black paint. She doesn't take care of her hair, and so it usually sticks up in all directions unless she tames it into a ponytail. Both her ears are pierced, two on each side.
Clothing style: She will usually wear sweatpants and t-shirts. She doesn't really try very hard with her dressing, and it shows. She looks like she's in constant disorder and disarray, and can look more like a hurricane than anything else. She doesn't wear fancy clothes if she can help it, but she will change her clothes ever so slightly when she's going out to eat. She always wears stud earrings in both her ears.
Outfit: A pair of black sweatpants, usually, with a band t-shirt and tennis shoes. Sometimes with a large sweatshirt, too. She always wears a simple snake bracelet, and earrings.

Personality: Taran is like the weather. She can change in the blink of an eye. She can't control her emotions very well, and is rarely logical, unless she's talking to people who just need to grow up and stop being overly emotional, or stupid. She is kind of arrogant, and hates to talk to new people, or to make friends, and comes across as a very mean, arrogant glacier. But with her friends, she can be a goofball, cracking inappropriate jokes and playing games and being idiots with them. She is extremely loyal, and if someone hurts one of her friends, she gets pissed, and will literally blow apart the world. She has a sharp mind, perfect for pranks, and many people have been at the butt-end of her jokes or pranks. She has a huge playful streak as wide as the ocean, and everyone who knows her well enough is wary of it. She loves to argue, and has fun in debates, and tends to be pretty good in them. She knows exactly what to say to people to make them feel better, or tear them down, and she is a master at bullshitting her way out of things. She is incredibly lazy, and rarely does her homework, until the last minute. She is a terrible procrastinator, and knows it, but doesn't really care anymore.
Likes/dislikes:

• Coffee, getting up early, watching Netflix, reading sci-fi books, goofing off with her friends, participating in debates, fangirling over boy bands, stalking people on the internet, chocolate

Habits: She will never do her homework until the last moment. When she's annoyed or afraid or trying to get herself together, she will dig her nails into her palms until it draws blood. She will stay up all night watching Netflix, and will act like a zombie all morning, until she gets her coffee. She will literally kill for people if they give her chocolate. She doesn't usually eat breakfast, or eat at all, until she is reminded, by herself or one of her friends.
Family/friends: Her best friend is a girl named Nova, whom she regards as practically a sister. Family, she has an older brother in the army, and an annoying cousin, Brykin, whom she has a love-hate relationship with.
Fears: She is afraid someone will break her heart. She is afraid of being weak. She hates being in small spaces, and is deathly afraid of the thought of dying.
Backstory: Taran grew up in a pretty rich family. Her dad was the CEO of a pretty big company, and her mom was a popular singer in her youth, until she had her oldest child, Taran's older brother Ferris, and settled down. When Taran was 16 years old, Ferris was 18, and her younger sister Melinda was 14, her parents and her little sister were n their way home from parent-teacher conferences, and were hit by a semi truck. They were killed in the crash. In grief, Ferris went to go enlist in the army, and Taran was sent to live with her aunt and uncle, until she could go to college, and that's what she did. She paid for it easily, because her parents had left a large sum of money for her when they died. Her uncle took charge of her dad's company until Taran came of age. She learned martial arts growing up, and so as a part time job, she works with some kids, to train them. She doesn't really need a job, but she prefers to, because it makes her feel more responsible.
