Characters are from separate planets. They have come as part of their planets earth study course. They are roomed together along with an actual earth being. Each alien thinks that the rest are aliens and tries, to the best of their ability, to act human

Rules:

• Joining
  I can choose to let you join or not, this is my Rp, my idea so the decision is mine to make. This depends on whether I have role played with you before, if I like your attitude, and if I like the way you Rp. If I say no, please respect my decision and leave peacefully.
• Characters
  The limit I have on characters is 2, anymore than that means more confusion and annoyance for the rest of people. If you have a good reason as to why you want more than 2, you will be allowed. After I allow you into the Rp, I would like characters to be up before we begin. I understand that life is a thing so I will not be pushy about it unless I see you active on other Rps but not this one
• Shipping
  I am hella fine with shipping! As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am a-ok with non-straight relationships. Both people, or more if that is the case lol, need to be ok with this. If one person changes their mind about the ship, that is fine. This isn't a legally binding contract so "break ups" are ok
• Conversation
  Any OOC or Out Of Character conversations should take place in brackets. '()' these are the brackets. Do not 'quote' OOC chats, just respond by saying the persons name and, if applicable, page number.
• Language
  I have no issue with foul language although I would suggest not using a swear in every. Single. Sentence. If you fail to respect this rule, you will be given a warning and then asked to leave.
• Other Rules
  I will not tolerate bullying of any kind however, if anyone starts acting out and others are only responding to their statements the person who started it will be given a warning. If for whatever reason I am not avalaible, I will let someone know and they will be "in charge" of the plot until I return. If you have concerns about another Rper, you are welcome to publically or privately discuss your reasoning with me and we can decide what to do from there. Failure to follow these rules will result in expulsion from this Rp. If you argue with my decision, or refuse to leave, you will be reported. Any other questions or concerns, just ask!

True appearance: He's 5'0, light skin tinted pale green, neck-length blonde hair with pale cyan highlights, a small, slender build, and light green eyes that glow in the dark. His back-length antenna has a cyan-colored bob on the end which he can use as a light and his tail has plug-like prongs at the end.
Any pets/family back home: A grey, speckled aelurus (silent 's', pretty much a space cat)
If so, how many: One for now; Marcus wants to get him a friend.

Appearance: The same as his true form but without his tail, antenna, and off-colored skin.
Clothing style: He greatly enjoys oversized, pastel, and soft clothing, but it's difficult for him to wear cottony things because of static electricity. He also really likes things with animals on it.
Outfit: A lavender sweater, white undershirt, skinny jeans, and white and teal sneakers. Sometimes wears a cyan scarf.
Distinguishing features: Small scars from his left shoulder to his elbow.
Personality: He's quiet and a bit reserved as a new student - on a new planet - but is patient, open-minded, and pretty excited to be there. He will always try to talk out a conflict, as his species is naturally non-confrontational, and he has been taught to defend himself only if he is harmed. He can be a bit of a stickler for rules and was often the one keeping his friends from getting themselves hurt or in trouble back home. Even on Earth, he finds himself caring for others more than himself.
Likes/dislikes: Rain, music, Earth animals, head pats/Lightning, bright lights, rule-breakers
Habits: Squeaking and trilling when he's nervous or happy, scratching his ears/the back of his head, making sleeve paws or otherwise hiding his hands
Family/friends: His adoptive parents, his birth parents, and his three best friends.

Backstory: He was given up as a sparkling (baby). his parents having no choice but to do so. A few years after he was adopted by a noble family of his planet's capital, he showed intrigue in space and the technology of other planets; When his friends started telling him about space explorers, he realized he wanted to be one and has been studying for a position since he could read. To his happiness, his training eventually paid off, and his school's top professor decided he'd be sent to Earth. He was sent with a guardian/guide who lives a few miles from the college.
Major: Environmental Science (I have fairly limited knowledge on it, though, so forgive me if I get things wrong .-.)

Appearance: Mel is athletic and has pale skin with stormy grey eyes. Her hair is long, light brown, and wavy, her hair parted to the left. She is about 5'4" and 180lbs.
Clothing style: Melanie wears more comfy clothing than something stylish. She'll only wear something fashionable if it's comfortable. Melanie is usually modest with clothing.
Outfit: Melanie wears normally a solid color shirt, usually white, and a red cardigan made of yarn. Melanie wears black jeggings. Her backpack is large (to store a bunch of things, both for school and personal use) and has pins on it, most of which revolve around her favorite shows (Big Bang Theory) or her favorite bands (Panic! at the Disco, AJR, and One Direction).
Distinguishing features: Melanie has an arrow earring on her right ear, and a heart stud earring on her right ear. Other than that, she has rosy red cheeks.

Personality: Melanie tends to be rude and pushy once you meet her due to the fact that she is wary if you will end up hurting her, physically, mentally, or emotionally. She cares deeply for the friends she has and gains, and will stand by their side no matter what. However, when she or a friend is made fun of, you can expect Mel to pick a fight with someone.
Likes/dislikes: Melanie likes music, writing, and hanging out with friends. On the contrary, she doesn't like it when her friends are fake or when someone pushes her to fight.
Habits: Mel tends to bite her lip when she's stressed, nervous, or anxious. Whenever she's angry, she balls up her fists and tightens her jaw.
Family/friends: Mel lives with her mother, Nora, and her younger brother, Paul. Currently though, she's staying at the college dorms.
Fears: Mel is scared of being abandoned (her father left her at a young age), failing, and clowns (she always thought of them as creepy, especially the smiling ones).
Backstory: Raised in the middle class, Mel was a good child. It was when her father left in the middle of the night for seemingly no reason that she got into fights. In her high school years, she had to go from school to school after getting expelled twice. She hopes to get a better reputation in college and wants to pursue her hobby in writing.
