"S-Stay back." She warned as she slowly moved backwards as she studied the girl. How can I trust her and its probably easier if I stay away from everyone. She thought to herself. A red aura surrounded her and it wasn't good.

Harley sighed “even if you attach me it won’t do much. My shadows will absorb your attack.” She replied creating a small black ball in her hands
"I said Stay back, I'm dangerous." She replied before she silently stepped out of her illusion, invisable. (So you can't see her so basically you still think she's standing in front of you.) Alex quietly walked over so she was right behind her. "Just get back." Her illusion said nervously.

Harley smiled and started playing with shadow, making shapes in the ground “ I won’t hurt an illusionist, their powerful.” She smiled showing her teeth
"Mine's sort of the side effect of a c-contract. But that's a long story," Vien said, going to take a drink of his mocha before realizing it was all gone. He frowned softly at it, twirling the straw for a moment before setting the cup back down
"Well, do you have time to explain the story?" Beau asked, looking up at Vien with a curious gaze. After a few moments, he looked back down, tugging on the fabric of his sweater to distract himself "You don't need to answer if you don't want to," He added gently.
“No, no, it’s fine. You aren’t the first t-to ask,” Vien assured him. “The tattoo is sort of the representation of a contract w-with a demon king I made a long time ago. He’s sort of the g-god of demons, I guess, and I more or less kill t-things for him in exchange for magic at will,” he said, holding out a hand to let starry wisps of smoke trail from his palm
Beau nodded in understanding as he leaned forward and looked at the smoke coming from Vien's palm, a boyish grin spreading across his face. "What does that smoke do?" He asked, glancing back up at Vien.
“Lots of things. It can make weapons s-stronger, help summon demons, help heal wounds. It’s pretty useful, but it does nothing unless you g-give it direction,” Vien answered, smiling happily as he willed the smoke to take the shape of a starry boat
"That's amazing. . ." Beau breathed out as he looked down at the starry boat with an amused smile. Lifting his own hand up and turning the palm to face the ceiling, he replicated the smoky image after a few moments.
Vien smiled widely. He concentrated for a moment, watching the smoke solidify the boat into some sort of grainy material. He set it gently on the table, where it began to float as if sailing on an invisible sea. "This is the kind of magic people should be u-using. Why harm someone when you can make boats fly?"
Cicada looked over at Dalton, "Any deep dark secrets you need to get off your chest?"
Dalton looked over to her, "No," he said quickly and defensively.
Cicada put her hands up defensively, "Alright then. Just trying to make conversation."
"Sorry," He said looking back at the picture.
A small laugh escaped Beau's lips as he watched the boat float around the table, imaginary winds blowing against its sails. "Exactly." He answered, tilting his head to the side as he continued to watch the starry boat.
Cicada sighed, "It's all good."
Vien's smile softened to something proud as he watched the boat move a little longer. He eventually let it dissolve, smiling softly as it crumbled into stardust. He was actually really happy he had made Beau smile. He was usually really bad with people, so the fact that he had done something right for once made him happy
"How about you? Got any secrets you wanna share?"
"Other than the fact my magic can get out of control sometimes," Cicada said as she twirled a flame around her fingers, "No."
"Cool," He said turning the picture so he couldn't see it anymore.
Cicada sighed, "That's one way to put it. I prefer dangerous."
Dalton laughed, "Yeah, seems like it can get you into a lot of trouble."
Cicada smiled weakly, "It sure does."
"My little brother was my best friend, I played with him all the time." Dalton began telling a story out of nowhere, "One time I was playing with him and I got angry so my powers went out of control. He looked at me trying to calm me down and my power sent a shockwave through his head. Now he's brain-dead in the hospital fighting for his life," Dalton looked like he could cry, "That's the real reason I'm here." He admitted.
