Lotus walked up to the dorm room and spotted the so called 'Party Queen'. Ms. Popular was a slight overstatement on their part earlier. She just commanded the school with her parties. Lot let out a slight sigh and tried to figure out a way around their knew roommate.
"Hey!" Ivy called out to the person standing near the room, a small smile on her face. "Room 206?"
Oliver moved his stuff near one of the random beds then just didn't unpack anything. Instead he walked out of his room down the hall and out of the building. He decided to go maybe off campus towards the mall.
Lotus nodded quietly and continued to mess around with the fidget cube, "Yep. You're Ivy right?" Of course she's Ivy. you know who Ivy is.
"Yup." Ivy stuck out her hand, smiling. "That's me. Sorry, I don't know your name," she said frowning a little. She felt bad, but this was a big school.
"It's Lotus," they gingerly took the hand and shook it. They weren't expecting that based on the things they had heard, "You can call me Lot if you want."
"Cool!" Ivy said, still smiling. "You wanna come in? Do you need help with your bags?"
"No I got it," Lotus responded shifting her grip on her bag, "But your kind of blocking the entrance."
"Uh, yeah." Jaeva said, stepping into the room, nodding at the second person who had entered.
"Jaeva. And your name?" She asked in general to both her new roommates. She glanced around the room warily, as if a killer clown would jump out at any second. She set her bags on the floor, pulling her pack pack tighter around her.
"Lotus," they said pushing past Ivy into the dorm. They set their two bags near the foot of one of the beds, "And that's Ivy."
"Ivy Maxford," Ivy said, smiling at her roommates. "Nice to meet you Jaeva. Tell me, what do you two think about the violin? I play, and need to practice daily, but if you two aren't a fan of the music, I can find another room to practice in."
"I don't mind it," Lot responded sitting down on the bed and pulling out her fidget cube from her pocket. She figured it wouldn't do her any good trying to keep it from her roommates.
Jayde headed towards her room the second she read that she would be sharing a room with two others. I thought I applied for a singular one. She thought with disgust, hoping her roommates would at least be clean and organized. She went in to see no one else had came in yet. She claimed the larger part of the dresser and the better bed in her opinion. She placed her bags near the bottom of her bed and out of sight and waited for the others to come.
"I don't find a problem with it. Plus, it might be nice to wake up from a hangover to violin music." She grinned crudely, hoping the statement could procure a stance of what they thought of her yet unknown habit. She pulled her backpack straps yet tighter around her chest, knowing that that contents inside couldn't be obvious to an outward eye—but still worrying just a bit.
