Ezra nodded. "No problem." He said brightly.
"So, is your hair naturally white…or is it just dyed that way?" He asked curiously.
Ezra nodded. "No problem." He said brightly.
"So, is your hair naturally white…or is it just dyed that way?" He asked curiously.
"It's natural.." He said nervously, "Weird right.."
Ezra shrugged.
"Not the weirdest thing I've seen," he said honestly. "At least it looks nice."
"My mom always told me she thought I came from a polar bear because I don't feel the cold and have white hair, isn't that funny?" She laughed
Ezra smiled and nodded.
"My mom always told me she was growing peas and I came out of a pea pod." He supplied. "At least, until I was old enough to know better that is."
Silver laughed, "I think that's funny," Color came back to her skin when she laughed
Mrs. Glanowski smiled at them as she passed.
"Okay guys, and that's it for today." She said proudly and people began to get up and leave, Mrs. Glanowski started folding up the metal chairs and Ezra stood up.
"Which way do you have to go from here?" He asked her quietly, if she wanted, he would walk her home or wherever she needed to go. After all, it was getting dark and he did enjoy her company.
"Oh I have a 20 minute walk home," She sighed, "What about you?"
"I live about the same." Ezra said. "I live in an apartment by myself, their called Kentwood Apartments."
"I live in the ones down the street!" Her face lit up at coincidence, "I really like this area, it gets a lot of snow and is nice and cold,"
Ezra smiled.
"That's debatable I guess," He said, chuckling. "I picked mine because they were the cheapest in the area."
"Do you have money problems?" Silver was a direct person, not realizing she could be asking something to personal
Ezra shrugged.
"I mean it's just me, so I wanted some place cheap because I work in retail while attending community college and I needed to get a cheap place in order to have money for other things."
"That's fair," Her voice trailed as she zoned out
Ezra kept walking, not noticing that Silver had fallen behind, he turned a corner and that's when he realised Silver was no longer with him. He retraced his steps, walking back to her.
"You," he said and then paused. "You okay?"
She glanced, "Oh! Sorry!" She jogged up to him, "Sorry I zoned out," Silver laughed and started walking again
"It's okay," Ezra said honestly. "I just don't want to leave you alone, expecially when it's getting dark."
"It's okay, I talk walks at night all the time, it's a lot of fun." She pulled the ribbon from her and her white hair blew in the wind, "The day time is to hot."
Ezra smiled.
"But it's cold?" He said quizzically and then shook his head. "You must be what my mother used to call 'cold blooded.' It mean't someone who enjoyed the cold instead of heat."
"That's what my mom said, you'll never catch me wearing anything else but shorts and cropped hoodies, it's to hot."
Ezra nodded as he smiled.
"Well," he said, "everyone is different."
"How old are you, by the way?"
Ezra smiled.
"I'm 22," he informed her. "What about you?"
"Oh I just turned 21 a month ago, gosh I havn't even had a drink yet," She laughed
Ezra chuckled lightly.
"Me either." He admitted. "I've just never been tempted to I guess."
