(oof, sorry my dude)
(Yeah, STUPID SNOW DAYS!)
(mornin')
Still hiding her face, Akyra mumbles, almost to herself, "So if I'm not a freak, but I'm still a human experiment, what does that make me?"
This wasn't the first time she had asked herself this.
"A friend." Ian answers simply, pulling uncomfortably at the collar of his jacket
"Huh, I guess," Akyra muttered into her knees. "But that's just until they find out what He did to me."
Why is he still here? I bet I could sense his discomfort from a mile away. He probably just pities me.
(Going to be offline today, sorry! Feel free to use my character tho!)
(Awww, ok. Have a good day!!)
Ian looks around, nonchalantly, "So… There's an army outside… What now?"
"Amethyst said there were only about two-hundred of them," Akyra said, finally looking up, her golden eyes taking a new light. "I could probably take most of them out."
"Oh?" Ian was shifting through shelves
//Curiosity//
"Yeah… well, the whole telekinesis thing is helpful for obvious reasons, and, along with sensing emotions, I can inflict them on others," she said, beginning to gain back a little of her usual confidence.
"Is that right…" He had half his mind on the conversation half on his wandering hands
"Yeah," Akyra said, putting her legs down. "I could cause someone a fear induced heart-attack, make them euphoric, depressed, angry…" she trailed off. "What are you doing?"
"I dunno…" He stands on his toes and pats the very top shelf
"Yes, you do, you're obviously looking for something. What is it?" Akyra asked, walking up behind him.
"Nah…" He actually had to jump a bit to reach the very back
Akyra rolled her eyes and lifted a finger, raising Ian up to shoulder level with the top shelf.
"Can you see whatever it is you're 'not' looking for?"
(hiya)
( Great now I have to wait for Sorceress to be on in order to rp.)
(mornin')
Akyra rolled her eyes and lifted a finger, raising Ian up to shoulder level with the top shelf.
"Can you see whatever it is you're 'not' looking for?"
(Sorry got grounded)
Ian yelps but steadies himself, "I keep telling you Im not really looking for anything in particula- Ooo…" He reaches for the very back of the shelf
Akyra floated up next to him. "So what are you reaching for?"
"Here put me down…" He looks down at the ground, choking slightly with the dust. He had pulled something to his chest. It was wrapped in old, mouth-eaten cloth. (What could it be? I didnt think this far ahead)
(a book…? umm… idk)
Akyra lowered them both down. She stumbled forward a bit once her feet hit the ground.
(Good idea)
Ian grabs her arm to help steady her. He walks over to a table and 'drops' the parclle on it. He tilts his head this way and that, "Looks… Like a book?" He tilts it the other way, "No… A gun?"
She blushed when he grabbed her arm. Gah, what is wrong with me?!
She went over to the table and looked at the mystery parcel.
"A book?" Akyra said confused. "Do they even make those anymore?"
