Kasey groaned. She stood up and walked to Amethyst and Ian, "Can we resolve this peacefully? Please? I have work that needs to get done."
Amethyst blinked a couple of times before letting out a deep sigh. She rubbed her face with her hands, then looked back up at her cousin.
"You're right," she admitted quietly so that no one else could hear. "But I need to make sure that the people can't undermine my leadership." Turning back to the field, she picked up a couple of swords and walked over to where Ian was sitting. "Here," she said flatly, handing him one of the weapons.
Ian looks from the sword, to Amethyst then away, huffing and crossing her arms tighter
"Come on, Ian. Let's just get this over with," the leader sighed. "You started this, you know. So let's just finish it and get it over with."
Kasey sighed and sat down. She pulled out a notebook and began writing down different design ideas, No one cares about the techie.
"Make me." He snaps
"Would you please just cooperate? I don't want to do this just as much as you, but everyone's already here and waiting for something to happen," Amethyst said quietly. The fire in her eyes had dimmed to a soft flame, and she was just ready to be done with this stupid challenge already. "The sooner you cooperate, the sooner you can get back to your work."
Ian stays silent for a few more minuets but he grabs the blade and immediately slashes down with it, cutting Amethyst along her cheek bone
Amethyst gasped at the stinging from the blade before hissing, "We didn't start yet! Just because you're mad doesn't mean you get to bypass the rules."
She took a step back and held her sword in front of her, pointing it at his chest.
"Someone count down so we can start!" she shouted.
Ian was silent but his eyes flash with anger. He held the sword down to the ground
Valerie didn’t count down, but pulled out a gun and shot into the air.
Ian flinched slightly but stayed rooted to the ground
Amethyst swung her sword toward Ian, starting the challenge.
Ian shoves his free hand into his pocket and easily dodges Ame's blade. He swipes at her back, cutting a thin slash there.
(Sorry Its just I do fencing and… Yeah)
(Lol. Np. I don't actually know much about sword fighting/fencing, so it might sound awkward.)
As the sword met her back, Amethyst jumped a bit. She turned to face the medic and swung at him again, and this time her sword met with his arm, drawing a small cut.
(Ohmygosh this is intense)
(Lol, yeah.)
Ian hisses but jumps away down the feild
(Btw, this isn't to the death, just whoever surrenders.)
Amethyst steps forward, swinging her sword again. The tip sliced Ian's other arm, making another small slash.
Yuri takes a solid stance, watching the field with an intense gaze. We will need to sharpen Amethyst’s sword skills. he makes a mental note.
Ian slashes himself, parrying and what not but not landing any more hits
Akyra rolled her eyes. Gah, they're like kids throwing temper tantrums, she thought. But they are getting a bit roughed up… Oh, stars, the medic tent.
She rushed back to the still collapsed medic tent and, along with some other medics, began putting it back up. After it was set up and they had gathered all the scattered supplies, she left them to reorganize.
Returning to the field, she saw that Amethyst and Ian were still at it.
Amethyst continued her pursual, eventually backing Ian up to the edge of the field. The clang of metal on metal resounds throughout the camp as their swords hit again and again. She sliced toward him once more, this time cutting along his cheekbone like he did to her.
"Surrender, Ian, so that we can be done with this," she huffed, breathing heavily from the prolonged exercise.
Ian swiped at her torso, cutting her along the stomach and running out of the corner, "Its to the death."
