The two managed to arrive at the village in no time and Tanrial could feel the excitement radiating off of Bernon. She led him through the cobblestone alleyways, making sure to steer away from the slums at first, knowing how the people would react to a knew, fresh face.
The bustling of the townsfolk grew louder and when they arrived at the court yard, the market was in full swing. Vendors were advertising their products, bargaining with as many people as they could. It was crowded, loud and very exposed. Tanrial remebered to flip her hood up as she led Bernon through the stalls.
Bernon looked around with great interest. "Man, I forgot what it's like to be around so many people. I missed the noise."
Tanrial smirked and half turned towards Bernon, “Yeah. What did you need before we head to the other part of the market?” She asked, making sure to move out of the way of an elderly lady.
"Um, not much, just some basic supplies and maybe a new notebook. This one's almost full."
“Well, weapons are over there,” she pointed to the left, “and normal supplies, along with books, are that way,” She pointed to to the right and shrugged, “depends where you want to go first.”
"Okay. Guess I'll get the boring stuff first so I know for sure I can afford it. I don't need any more weapons right now, so….left it is. I'll be quick."
(It seems I have to go to bed now sadly. I will see you tomorrow ^^)
“Okay, I’ll be over by the stall over there,” she motioned with her head in the direction of another street where a small stall stood by the corner, “Don’t be long. There are… others like me here.”
(Okie, see ya then!)
"Got it. Thanks." Bernon began to wander along the street, admiring the various wares as he passed. He saw someone selling knitted hats and immediately bought one, switching it out with his old one happily. A few minutes later he came across some hand-made blank books and all resolve went out the window. He bought three.
At the end of the street he stopped and turned around, already laden down with new supplies. Now he had to find Tanrial again. Munching on a sandwich acquired from a booth nearby, he strolled back towards the corner stall where he'd last seen her.
Tanrial stood in the shadows by the stall, hood up and flicking her dagger warily. She had spotted four other Eyvns in the market. One from Corro, one from Sirra and two from Pycral. Thranion’s minions no doubt. She breathed in deep as she saw Bernon approach the stall.
He waved. "Hey, thanks for waiting. This is a great market, I found everything on my list." Noticing her expression, he added more quietly, "Anything wrong?"
She moved her head slightly, not lifting her gaze from the dagger, “Four others. One Corro, one Sirra and two Pycral. Thranion’s minions most likely,” She placed the weapon back at her side, “We have to move to the other market, fast.”
(sorry, I got called away. I'll probs have to leave again in a bit)
"Okay," Bernon said quickly. "Lead the way."
(No problem)
They moved down the side streets, Tanrial making sure to go the back way and soon the quietness grew again
Bernon followed, keeping an eye out for anyone who looked like they might be after them. "Sorry to make you risk your safety like this. We can leave, if you want, I don't want to get you into trouble."
“It’s fine. Normally there is only one other Eyvn but four. This has Thranion’s mark all over it.” Soon the pair found the market. It was much quieter then the other, and there were more merchants selling unknown and weird items at every stall. People were bargaining not with money, with other precious objects.
Tanrial inclined her head to one stall, “I have to get some thing before we see the Mother. Come on.” She stated down one length off stalls.
"Whatever you need. I'm in no rush."
(aaand now I gotta go to beddddd :< Sorry! I'll see you tomorrow!)
