The Wendigo hissed when Shade froze, her form vanishing from its vision. It sniffed and growled, giving a slight screech before it ran off and across the lot.

Shade sighed and rushed into the dorms. She didn't bother to wait for an explanation as she collapsed on her own bed.

He's going to do something he's going to regret isn't he Jack Peter thought as Cyrus ran across the lot

Midnight teleported across from Shade. "You deserve an explanation, that is if you want one."

"Stop scaring me!" Shade screeched, "I don't want one so just go and do whatever you do."

Jack Peter grabbed the backpack that he stuffed his gear in and followed after Cyrus carefully, making sure he doesn't hurt anyone

"See you later Code Breaker," Midnight left.

"What?" Shade looked where Midnight had just been, "That isn't good."

Shade fell back on her bed, "Whatever."

The Wendigo ran at a strangely fast speed towards the smell of the nearest human. A man was standing outside a restaurant, smoking. It hissed and leapt onto a moving car, the car skidding to a stop when a dent was made in the roof of it. It leapt towards the man now, claws and fangs bared as it took the man to the ground, screeching in a terrifying way before sinking its fangs into the man’s neck, ripping it open in a splatter of blood as onlookers pointed and screamed. To the Wendigo, this was amazing. It’s kind frequented mountains and the wilderness. To it, the city was a buffet.

"What are you doing Peter?" Midnight whispered to Jack Peter, keeping an eye on the mark. "He just killed someone."

"I was trying to make sure he didn't do that but I lost track of him" Jack Peter replied He dissapeared into a shadow and came back out in his Frost gear "Where is he?" He asked, voice sounding quite different from the mask

"Outside a restaurant, currently eating his kill," She answered.

The Wendigo latched it’s claws onto the man’s now dead body, dragging it quickly towards a more shadowed alleyway, leaving a thick trail of blood on the concrete. It made a clicking noise as it tore into the chest of the man, the taste of the human satisfying It’s hunger.

Jack Peter headed towards the restaurant and found the trail of blood and no one in sight Great He thought as he followed the blood into the alleyway to see Cyrus eating a man

"Such a nice day, eh?" Midnight whispered sarcastically.

"Oh yeah lovely weather we're having" He whispered back

The Wendigo continued to rip into the man’s stomach area, eventually ripping out pieces of muscle and organs with sickening noises. It ripped out what looked like a heart, fangs tearing into it hungrily.

"We should probably make sure he doesn't eat anyone else," She pointed out.

Jack waited at the entrance to the alleyway to avoid Spur getting away and hurting someone else and waited hoping that he would be able to control himself after he finished the poor man

Shade woke up from her cat nap. Rose's healing sessions always drained her energy. She looked at her phone to see that her class had been canceled. Shade sighed and walked over to her computer to work on a couple assignments.

"I'm hoping that will be enough for him to come back to his senses a little bit, he's still hurt afterall" He replied quietly blocking the entrance to the alleyway with ice to avoid Cyrus getting away if its not enough
