"Why do you like it?" He asked, even more curious now.
"Why do you like it?" He asked, even more curious now.
"Being able to perform, the music in general, the atmosphere, my anonymity. Everything," Kasumi replied.
"That's cool," Max said. "I'm gonna leave," He said, awkwardly pointing at the door.
Kasumi shrugged. "Do what you want. You already know who I am, so I don't care." She began to walk away, towards the dance floor.
"Okay then." Max began to walk out of the club, hoping no one else tried to flirt with him.
(IDK what to do now, they're both so shy >.<)
(same)

(ok so. How about we pretend the diner never happened, and we start at the beginning of the club scene?)

Kasumi swayed her hips to the music as she sang, smiling as she let her eyes sweep out across the club audience. Strangely, this was like a second home to her. She loved the anonymity her mask afforded her and the whole bass-boosted atmosphere of the club.
Max was in the back of the club, quietly drinking his drink, while his friend was talking to some people. His friend had forced him to come here so he could be more 'social.'
Even though there were a lot of people filling the club, Kasumi was able to spot a few of her friends. Waving to them, she smiled and continued singing as she wandered around the circular stage.
Max kept drinking his drink while quietly humming along to the song with a small smile. He kept glancing at his friend who had probably forgotten about him.
Stepping close to one edge of the stage as she sang, Kasumi suddenly felt someone grab her ankle. She looked down to see an obviously intoxicated man holding onto her ankle. She stopped singing and tried to back away, shaking her foot, but he held on tightly, so she did the natural thing in that situation: She screamed.
Max stood up to see what was happening and walked over to the intoxicated man, pushing him away from the singer, "What do you think you're doing?"
Kasumi scrambled back as the strange man pushed the drunk one away from her.
"Jus' admiring the pertty lady," the drunken man slurred. "Wus wrong wit dat?"
"That doesn't mean you grab her ankle and put her in potential danger." He said, glaring at the man and glancing at the girl to see if she was okay.
