Nala nodded her head before roaming the small room. Her small legs needed a chance to walk around.

Ash lifted her head at a sound. She saw another pup in the room with her.

"Hi Ash!" Lupin said cheerfully. "How are you today?"

“I’m fine how are you? What are you doing? Want to play?” She asked in a rush

"I'm good, I'm talking to you, and sure!" Lupin answered just as fast, getting into a play position.

Aah tackles lupin

Lupin fell to the ground, struggling to get free. Ash was larger than he was, so she had the advantage.

Ash playfully bites his hind leg

"Hey! This seems unfair!" Lupin pushed his paws against Ash's chest, trying to push her off. "You're stronger than me!"

Ash yips

"Come on, get off!" Lupin squirmed, trying to get free.

Ash gets off him then hears a whistle. She looks up to see a human looking at her.

"Oh, no… the human!" Lupin's ears turned back, and he cowered in the corner.

“But the human gives me treats!” She barked at him tilting her head sideways

"The human doesn't like me…" Lupin whimpered as the human approached, shrinking against the wall/

“Ashy! Come here girl!” The human called reaching a hand inside. She stood protectively in from of lupin and growled.

"You can go, Ash. If the human is good to you, that's fine. The human just isn't fond of me." Lupin looked up at the human warily, falling silent.

The human looked taken aback, then he looked at the pup she was guarding “ I’m not going to hurt either of you! Look I have two treats!” Ashy approached the human warily and took the treat from his hand. She brought it back over to Lupin.

Lupin sniffed the treat before eating it, cautiously coming out of the corner towards the human.

Ash yipped when she saw Lupin coming out of the corner
