"Ah, I see…" she mused, holding her hand out towards Hunter. She gestured behind her to the two large figures. "These are my generals, Raziel and Reese Asparteon. They are here for military assistance and will require rooms of their own. Don't trouble yourselves, they will take my belonging to my quarters as you um…. 'show me around.' " She said to Hunter. Raz threw her in appalled look while Reese looked away. She knew she was required to take them everywhere, for safety matters, but she thought it would be imperative to put up a front of contentment and peace amongst these….. allies of hers.

"I'm sorry if that sounded rude, I'm blind and my father tends to forget. That's why I am quite unsuited to show you around." Hunter explained as his gossamer wings fluttered, a small dragon flying over to pearch on his shoulder.

"Well then…." Faye tried her best to not look at the Fae King with the condemnation she was sure was in her green eyes. Only a Fae would be so careless, in front of a guest no less. "Perhaps a tour is unnecessary." she offered with a tight smile.

Hunter shrugged. "Con is here now, so I could still show you around." He offered, his sightless violet eyes seemed to be surveying her.

Faye felt her smile falter. "Well, shall we be on our way then?" she asked, her voice terse. She stepped closer and placed a hand on his arm. She fought not to flinch. What would she give to be back home? These threats had better be worth it. Or else they were in for a worse force of nature…..

"Please refrain from touching me, Con will lead us," Hunter said, motioning to the dragon on his shoulder. He really didn't want to do this, he would much rather be practicing his magic not be entertaining a human princess.

With a nod, Faye dropped her hand. "Very well…"she muttered. She kept silent until they left the presence of the king. She groaned very unlady-like and stopped walking. "We can stop acting now. You hate me as much as I hate you, no? Or maybe even more-so. I just want to assure you that this is the extent of this alliance. I need your cooperation until we find out what going on before it obliterates us. After that, you can expect to see me never again, unless it's with a sword in your gut." she gave a curt nod. "I'd like this to be done quickly."

"I don't hate you, I just wish I was using my magic instead of being a prince." He said, his posh accent going away and sounding more humanlike. "If ya want, I can show you my magic room? It's the only interesting place here."

Deleted user

Faye thought for a little bit. "Go an view this humongous palace while you half-heartedly ramble about your heirlooms or…..Go and see something interesting?" She tapped her chin. "Please take me to your magic room." she said rolling her 'r's.

"Cool, follow me." He says, walking over to a wall and knocking on it. The wall opened to reveal a cave-like stairway with gems along the walls, he leads her into the stairwell and down it. "Here we are." He waved his hand, in response a bunch of candles lighted for her porpuses.

She looked about and smiled. "Wow, this is….interesting. We don't have anything like this where I am. Maybe some of the acolytes of your kind do, but not most of us." She turned back towards him. "This is what you'd rather do with your life? Stay hidden and alone with your magic?" Faye knew she could never understand that. She hated going to bed a night, just for the fact that she would be alone. With her thoughts, and fears, and shadows… She would never understand this at all.

"Yeah." He laughed. "It's better than being made fun of for being blind."
He stops talking for a moment.
"Anyhow, we should probably get to know each other. Or something."

Deleted user

"Or something…." she snorted to cover a laugh. "Very well…What is it that you would like to know about me? Is my bedroom filled with pink fluff and lacy curtains? No. Am I spoken for or betrothed? No. Do I enjoy being a princess? Somewhat. Are the two cronies I left upstairs my lovers? No. Anything else?"
