Jason felt guilt rise. "I read a little. Not alot though. Only the first page." He says truthfully.
Jason felt guilt rise. "I read a little. Not alot though. Only the first page." He says truthfully.
Zackary shut the book. “Why? I thought this type of thing would be interesting to you.”
Met looked quietly intriqued from beside Jason but didn’t pry unless given context.
"It does… It's just… The picture caught my attention." He mumbles.
Zackary’s gaze flickered and he set his book down. “It’s not a picture. It’s an illustration.” He looked at Jason. “You couldn’t tell?”
Jason blinks before looking at the other. "It is? It's incredible sir…" He says softly.
Zackary waved his hand. “Call me Zackary. Thanks.” He accepted the compliment with a slight expression of pride.
Jason nodded before smiling a little. He looks at Met and smiles.
“Anyway,” Zackary brought back and sat down. “We need to discuss this. You want to summon something Supernatural to protect all of us.”
Jason nods and takes a deep breath. "Yes. I do." He whispers.
“Which we can do. I have the materials, I have the time and patience for it. Jason, you have the apitiude for an Angel, as I’ve said. So, I concluded that I’ll summon the pair of you a pair of Guardian Angels.”
Jason nods, taking in each word before taking a deep breath. "Okay." He says softly.
Zackary shifted his shoulders and stretched out. “But they can be a handful. They’re good at protecting but you need to offer them reasoning for basically everything you do. They’re also very stubborn.”
Jason nods and takes a deep breath. "Stubborn, reasons, and a handful. Got it." He replies, stretching a little bit.
Zackary rolled his eyes. “Anyway, if you’re up to it, I’ll set you two up with Angels.”
Jason looks at Met, taking his hand gently. He was willing to do it if Met was up to it as well.
Met sniffled a little, glancing away. Zackary squinted at his son.
“Are you okay?”
Met gave a tiny nod.
Jason starts. "Met?" He asks gently, his eyes concerned.
Met dipped his head a little and rubbed his eyes. “I’m okay. The Angels thing is fine too.” His voice was softer than usual.
Jason takes both of Met's hands. "What's wrong?" He whispers. He didn't want to do this if Met didn't. He just wanted to protect the other. There were other ways and he was willing to find one that would help his lover.
Met shook his head. “Nothing’s wrong,” He mumbled back gently.
Jason tilts his head gently, kissing him softly. "Met, please." He mutters softly.
Met leaned into Jason, his lank hair hiding his face. “Nothing’s wrong.”
"I'm no mind reader love, but that was a lie." He says softly.
Met sighed, shaking his head. “It’s fine, Jason. I’ll be okay.”
Jason nods, holding his hands gently. "You can tell me whatever's going on. Okay? If you want to back out of this, it's fine." He mutters softly.
