"You can make that thing as big as you want." Tobias said, sensing yet another presence. Another demon came at them, obviously hiding and waiting earlier.
Tobias turned, facing it, but keeping his eye on the girl. This one was a horrific mixture of human and spider, it's fangs twitched, as it tried to probe Tobias' mind to read it, and then hypnotize him.
"See what I mean, doll." Tobias said to the girl, before taking a shot at the soft part under the spidery fangs. The demon did the same thing the other one tried, using it's last energies to revert to a human form.

(The characters are confronting demons, which makes it a perfect time for an angel like Pearl to appear.)
Pearl sighed as she darted through the woods. She could feel the demons' presence, but damn, was her teleporting off. She rolled her eyes at herself, drawing an angel blade. She hopped over a few roots, running past another girl.
Tobias noticed another girl run past. What was with today? He approached the demon corpses.
Rachel couldn't leave yet because another one of those things decided to make her bike a hangout. She wanted to make a run for it but something told her that she should stay, maybe it was instinct or maybe she was smart enough to know that she would die is she ran? With slow movements, Rachel grabbed a convenient pointed stick next to her and walked a direction that her instinct told her to go.
Alright, I'm gonna check this place out." Tobias said, walking off.
“Have fun?” She called after him, walking back toward her home.
