Riverpaw fiddled with her tail as she thought, but soon settled on a decision. "Okay then." She texted Danielle to let her know what was going on, then turned and smiled nervously at Charlie. "I-I guess I'm ready when you are."

She offered a small smile and ran a hand through her hair and looked towards the parking lot. "Alright. Let's go." She smiled a little bit. "Just… please don't judge me for my car." She smiled weakly. She brushed some hair from her face.

Riverpaw tilted her head a little. "Why would I do that?" She asked, confusion on her face. She still didn't understand why people would worry about such things.

She chuckles gently before walking to the car. In the faint light of the setting sun and the streetlights, a deep burgundy challenger. She laughs nervously. "This is Lola." She hummed softly. She looked over at Riverpaw.

She giggled, not at the car but at the name. "Lola." She echoed, nodding slightly. She wasn't judging at all; it was a nice-looking car, and the fact that it had a name was even better. She thought it cute that people named inanimate things.

Charlie let out a breath. At least she wasn't being called a rich kid. Her dad was rich, due to the fact that he was CEO of a big company, a company she would soon take over. She opened the passenger seat. "Here you are." She says. "The seat can shift to your comfort and it has heating and cooling." She smiled as she shut the door and walked towards the drivers seat. She starts the car and it lets out a growl as it starts up. "So where's your house?" She asks kindly.

Riverpaw settled in the seat, and she jumped a bit when the car started. She opened her phone and went into the map. "I-I can never remember…" She muttered disappointedly, tapping the 'recent' list. "0914 Springbush Road."

Charlie smiles a little before planting the address in her car and hitting the "navigate" button. She pulled out of the school and began driving, humming gently to the radio that played softly. She followed the road signs, glancing over at Riverpaw every so often.

Stop fidgeting. Calm down. Riverpaw hadn't even realized she kept shifting around in the seat until her thoughts caught up. Her face felt warm as she looked over at Charlie. She has such pretty eyes. She mused not for the first time that night. Her house was rather far from the school, but she was happy to at least spend a little more time with other girl. She still didn't get why Charlie had said all that stuff about people being scared of her when she was so kind.

Charlie smiled a little as she hummed, glad to be driving. It always calmed her nerves. Her mind wandered towards River, how pretty the smaller female was. How shy and kind. Her eyes, her cute little lips, the way she had danced with the taller female. She gave a tiny smile as she looked at the other. "So. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?" She asks curiously.

"Hm? O-oh, uh, well," She twiddled her fingers in her lap and shrugged lightly, "I volunteer a-at an animal shelter a few blocks from my house, so there's that. I take healing and archery classes, too, and my best friends and I like to go to this sort-of-secret place called Vibe and hang out. There's um, there's also a second house next to ours that my papa bought a few years before…um…" Don't. "I-I have some animals living in there, so I spend time taking care of them." The thoughts of her little buddies made her smile, and she glanced at Charlie. "What about you?"

Charlie smiles as she listened to River. She was cute, smart, and helped animals. She was to precious for her own good. She was quiet for a moment before saying, "I work and train at the gym. I'm aiming to be a professional weight lifter and training for the Summer Olympics. Once done with that, I want to become a trainer or a Physical Ed teacher. Maybe both, I don't know. But I do know that I'll eventually have to take over my dad's business. But when I'm not doing that, I tend to play with the younger kids in my neighborhood, take care of my dogs or just hang out." She sighed softy. "I've already been offered scholarships…"

So she aimed to be in the Olympics, a physical trainer or PE teacher or both, and was a future business owner. On top of that, she had been offered scholarships; though, wasn't she was senior? That seemed less of a surprise, then. Nevertheless, Charlie seemed to have things pretty well figured out, which was more than Riverpaw could say for herself.
She's amazing. "You're amazing." She kept that in her head, right?

Charlie blinked when the girl beside her called her amazing. She had never heard those words leave someones lips and be talking about her. It just never happened. She blushed softly and offered a tiny smile. "Thank you." She mutters quietly, her cheeks a light pink as long with her ears. "You're quite amazing yourself." She replied.

A small, doubtful laugh came from her, but her face flushed. "N-not by a long shot, but thank you." She said, her tail thumping quietly against the seat. Her ears flicked a few times as the energy in the car seemed to change, but she wasn't sure what it was and it didn't help when she looked over at Charlie and saw her face and ears turning an off color. Maybe it wasn't just her that was feeling hot. "May I roll the window down?"

She hummed and shook her head. "Whatever you say." She laughs gently. Her cheeks were still burning as she drove. She nods. "Yeah, go ahead." She rolled down her window as well, still feeling a bit warm. She had never been complimented before, so it was a whole new experience for her. She smiled a little to herself, a feeling foreign to her settling in her stomach.

As soon as the window was open, Riverpaw sighed, a quiet sound of relief as the wind hit her face. She lay her head on the window and her ears were flattened against her hair, which fluttered haphazardly around her face. She looked up at the stars and Moon, silently thanking them for helping her make a new friend.

Charlie listened to the radio, her eyes on the road. She hummed along with the soft song, her finger tapping with the beat. She loved this song. She glances over at Riverpaw and blushed a soft pink. This female was unlike anyone she had met yet. She looked back at the road.

Seeing where they were, she figured it would be another few minutes or so until they reached the outer part of the town, where the two houses would be across from each other at the end of a cul-de-sac. She stifled a yawn and suddenly realized just how drained she felt; the interaction with Charlie and all of the odd energy changes had left her feeling a tad weak. She started to drift off, hoping Charlie wouldn't be upset about it.

(I swear I replied…)

Charlie smiled at the other and hummed as she drove, glad to get out of the city for a little while. Once she saw the houses she pulled over at the others home. "We're here." Her Russian accent thick and gentle. She offered a kind smile towards the other before getting out of the car to open the door for River.

(Did you? Maybe it just never showed up for me..)

Riverpaw blinked awake, straightening and gently shaking the sleep away. "Thank you." She stepped out of the car, returning the other's smile shyly. As soon as she started to approach her cream-colored house, there was a muffled bark from the one across from it. She looked over and saw one of her dogs in the window - a familiar golden retriever face that she smiled at. She turned to Charlie and clasped her hands in front of her, glancing at the house. "W- um..would you like to come meet my buddies?" She asked. "Y-you probably want to get home now, I know, but I-I just figured I should ask. Unless that was silly of me."

She nods and smiles a little bit. "It's really not a problem." She looks towards the house and smiles a little whne she sees the dog in the window. She loved animals with a burning passion. She nods a little. "I would like that." Charlie looks towards the female and offers a tiny smile.

Riverpaw smiled. "Alrighty!" She chirped, suddenly feeling a tad excited. She always felt better when her animal buddies where involved, and now her new friend - at least, she hoped that's how Charlie saw them at this point - was going to meet them. She headed toward the house, and the retriever barked again, then disappeared from the window; he was going to wait at the door. When they got there, Riverpaw pulled a key from under the potted plant next to the front door and unlocked it. Immediately, there was a small room closed in by a screen door, so she stepped in and looked back at Charlie.

Charlie followed after her, a small smile on her lips as she walked behind River, humming softly to herself as she brushes some of her messy blonde hair from her face. She always loved animals, she practically adored them. She watched as the other grabs the key from under the potted plant before opening the door. Charlie walked int and her nose was hit with the smell of animals, a smell she loved.
