I think we can probably start for now, she said she would be an hour so we won’t be very far in and nothing major will happen in that time.

The stage that had been dark since the start of the party suddenly came to life the spot light focusing on a single top hat on the sage. Slowly wisps of blue smoke started to rise out of the hat. Quickly the smoke started to pour from the hat filling the sage and obscuring it from view. then the smoke slowly started to disappears reviling Madelyn wearing the same hat standing in the center of the stage. No one can telling is she materializes from the smoke or if it was simply a cover for her to walk out on stage un seen. "Hello and welcome one and all," Maddie take off her hat and does a large bow. For such a small girl her voice fills every corner of the party. She tosses that hat up and it lands on her head. "Lady's and gentlemen, friend and fiend, hero and beast, all or none or somewhere in between… Welcome to the madness court where there are no sides, no hatred or even names," She said wile putting a mask made of twisted silver up to her face, "In a world where you constantly worry about your reputations. Constantly asking, 'did I made a good impression? Do they like me? What are thy saying be hind my back? Am I fulfilling my responsibilities?' well those questions can be maddening. So everyone needs a brake or you might just become permeant members of my court." A devilish smiled came across her face, "To be honest to more fun being insane all the time," she winked out at the crowd, "But tonight you can try insanity free of charge, no commitment. That being said there are some ground rules." She held up her hands to since a few boos the started to rise from the crowd, "now now hear me out, Violence is limited there can be a punch thrown here or there, but if more than a few drops of blood are spill on this land, well I'll have to intervene. None of us want that, do we now?" She gave the crowd a knowing look that border on daring them to try her and just terrifying enough to maybe make you think twice. "So please mix, mingle, indulge yourself because there is no guarantee you will get another chance." Maddie smiled disappearing back stage after giving that theoretical opening, This was exactly what she loved to do. What she was raised to do. Cause trouble, blur the lines between reality and fiction. She was the master of ceremonies in the Madness court.

(Also this time masks were passed out at the doors so everyone has one)

Althea walked to the corner and stood in the shadows alone. She didn't know why her mother forced her to come, but she did to make her mother happy (and to escape potion brewing lessons).

Reyna stood off to the side, glass in her hand and distinctly uncomfortable. This wasn’t her court and she therefore didn’t fit, but Maddie was her friend. She took a sip and waited for someone to approach her.

Lixi always enjoyed Madeline's ceremonies in the madness court and all her little tricks. They were just so fun and interesting. The only part was that no one really liked her in Wonderland which made her feel like an outcast in the land of wonder and madness. She always tried to make up for what her mother did after she came. Alice already had her mask on to avoid the stares and comments. It was better if no one knew who she was.

It was Alex's first time in Wonderland and she had to admit, it was very interesting. She was surprised by the letter that had ended up on her little island, but of course she came. She had never been off of the island before. Alex already had her mask oh as she watched in marvel of the girl on stage, I think her name was Madeline. She reminded herself. She didn't exactly know how to fit in since she was knew, so she approached a girl who stood off to the side. "Um hello." Alex greeted awkwardly.

Thanatos watched as the girl disappeared behind the large curtain on stage. Quite the opening he thought to himself as he walked among the party goers observing intently through his mask.

Lixi saw an unfamiliar man walk through the crowd with his mask on. Tentatively she walked up to him, "Hello, haven't seen you here before." She introduced herself to him.
