As Marco braided her hair, Phoebe felt a strange, all too familiar sensation in her stomach. She pushed the thought away sharply, not when wanting to consider it. It’s not possible anyways.

His hands were shaking as he looked up at Marco. "I don't get how you do it. These people have families and friends and people who care about them…how can you just end their lives so quickly and not be terrified of the consequences?"

Marco shrugged, "you don't think about the details. Just do what you're told."

"But-" He didn't have the energy to argue, and now wasn't the best time. "The gun that I..shot her with had the symbol as well." Micah stated, trying to change the subject.

Phoebe felt a wave of exhaustion, so she remained silent, listening quietly.

"Makes sense," Marco remembered the group he was in, the 'kid killers.' They basically worshiped that symbol. "I know who took you."

"Who? I just assumed it was the government or something." Micah remembered his tally as it stung him a little. He rolled up his pant leg. "Oh yeah, I got this too."

Marco got up at patted Micah on the back, "welcome to the club, kid."

He smiled slightly. He knew that Marco was probably joking about the whole 'club' thing, but Micah did feel like he was more of a group member than before. "Ha, thanks."

Phoebe reached out to comfort Micah, but just then, spasms ripped through her midsection. She held back a cry, tears springing to her eyes as pain blazed through her. She didn’t make a sound. They had bigger things to worry about.

(Remember, her uterus is already damaged)

Micah noticed a jolt of pain wash over Phoebe. "Are you alright?"

Phoebe gritted her teeth. “I’m fine.”, she got out.

"No, you're not." He turned to Marco and pointed at Phoebe. "You're her boyfriend, get the truth out of her."

*taps feet boredly *
