"Right. Was it a kiss?" Mariko raised an eyebrow, her eyes scanning for signs and coming up with, high heart rate, flushed cheeks, recently opened tear ducts, lips have traces of DNA from other contender.

Marco returned Mari's glare. "It's nacho business. Phoebe was right, it's a long story."

Mariko touched Phoebe's lips with her metal hand, "So it was a kiss." she glared at Marco again and made a half-hearted slap on his shoulder, "We don't have time for kissing, so if you guys are going to kiss just do it at an appropriate time."

“Ashton is gone off. We don’t know where he is.” Phoebe said, cheeks pink.

Marco shrugged, "not like I care," he said under his breath.

"I don't know who Ashton is." Mariko glared at Phoebe, "You guys can go get him, I'll catch Micah's scent or whatever."

"He… Ashton thinks that his sister, Ayu is being held by the same person that Micah's being held captive." Marco says not wanting to lose Mari. "We need to look together."

“No.”, Phoebe said firmly. “Don’t you dare leave without us. We knew him before you, we’re coming too.”

"Great. Fine." Mariko rubbed her temples. "Just hurry up." she felt a little pang in her heart when Phoebe said that she knew him before Mari knew him. Although that was true, Mariko frowned and sat back down on the curb, telling herself that love doesn't exist and robots can't find love.

"Why do you seem so enraged at me?" Marco asked.

"Can you just go?" Mariko whipped around, her blonde curls bouncing, "And stop asking me useless questions."

Phoebe sighed and followed. “What’s the plan?”

Marco kicked some rocks out of his way. "Don't look at me for a plan."

Mariko sighed, "My head's forming one and taking into account all of the possibilities." she touched the small slot in the back of her neck, "Shouldn't be long now."
