"You're adorable when you forget things." Mariko laughed, brown eyes twinkling.

"I'll…take that as a weird complement." Micah shook his head, chuckling slightly.
"I'm an expert at those."
"As long as it's a complement."
Mariko nodded and held onto Micah's shoulders, cautiously stepping on the ground.
Micah nodded, helping her stand. "Careful."
"Always am." Mariko flashed a smile and let go.
He held out his arms, ready to catch her if he needed to.
(Hey guys my parents have come up with a new system at our house, and so I'll only be on the computer for two hours around this time. So I'm here now, but just wanted to let you know.)
(alright, good luck with that….)
Mari stumbled her way to the door and opened it.
Micah followed her cautiously.
(Hi!)
(heyo)
(HI!!!!)
(hey)
Mariko held onto Micah's shoulder and walked towards the kitchen.
Micah was still limping slightly from the bullet wound, but whatever the medics had done to fix it had helped a lot. He let Mari hold onto him as they made their way towards the kitchen and opened the door.
"There's a lot of blood in here." Mariko stared at the ground.
Micah nodded, looking around. "That doctor probably took Kimberly some place else."
Mariko sat down on a table. "I hope she's okay."
"Me too." He leaned back against the wall next to her, trying to remember how he got in this situation.
Mari nodded and avoided the blood as she walked to the stove.
"What're you doing?" Micah asked, sitting on the table where Mariko had previously been.
"Looking to see if there's food."
