"Thank you," Kasumi replied with a sultry laugh, causing her eyes to twinkle. "My mother and elder sister taught me." She twisted her hips and switched the positions of their arms, resting her's around the woman's neck and the woman's on her hips. Leading her further into the crowd, she leaned in so as to be heard. "What do you think of OZ so far, doll?" she asked in a purr.
"It's really something." Everest laughed wholly, though she hated her laugh and how she did at random moments. "I was supposed to be here with a friend, but I got lost," She shrugged and looked away for a brief moment "But you found me? Or..no, I guess I found you…I mean, I wasn't searchi- well, I was kinda, your voice-" Another blush made itself known.
Kasumi chuckled. "Well, I'm glad you found me, darling," she purred, blinking in that slow way of hers. "You're an excellent dancer." She spun the woman again, then leaned her back in a quick dip, as though to accentuate her point. "Would you like to go get a drink? We've been dancing quite some time."
(I've got to go to bed, see ya tomorrow!)
(three words. I. Hate. Essays.)
(really? I like essays, they're the only chance I get to write at school.)
(I like some essays, like book reports, but I'm writing one over the Russian government)
(oh, is that a tough topic? especially with all the drama with the states and Russia?)
(It's not particularly difficult, it's just rather dull. It's just about how their gov works and the different positions. No modern events or anything.)
(oh, I'm not in school yet, but that sucks )
(Yeah. Anyway, back to the rp?)
(oh yeah sure, im gonna be on and off cuz im having breakfast
I have to stop saying 'oh' every reply)
"You don't have to ask me twice." Everest chuckled quietly as she followed the woman to the bar. When was the last time she'd had a drink? 1998? She couldn't remember, being busy with all these modern problems- Everest rarely had time to relax. She took this time to admire the nightclub, filled with magical creatures of all kinds- and the bouncing coloured reflections that never stopped moving.
As they made their way over to the bar, Kasumi glanced back at the woman she had been dancing with. The look of quiet appreciation and wonder on her face made Kasumi smile. After gliding past a few more people, they arrived at the bar. "An amaretto sour and a whatever this lovely lady wants," Kasumi purred at the bartender, shooting him a gorgeous smile, before turning to the woman at her side. "What would you like, doll?"
Everest smiled gratefully, "I'll have a spiced cranberry rum fizz." She noticed the dazed look on the bartender's face and wondered if he felt like she did when Everest looked at the woman. "Please." She added- wanting to make a good impression.
Kasumi smiled at the woman as the bartender hurriedly began to make their drinks, a dazed smile still on his face. "So, darling, what's your name?" she asked, her voice a lulling purr as she rested her chin on her fist and gazed into the woman's eyes. "I should know the name of the woman who danced with me so wonderfully."
(sorry moi parents r very strict)
"Everest." She replied shyly. "I haven't properly danced since the 90's." She knew her dancing was nothing compared to hers, but the compliment made the butterflies in her stomach known. "What about you?" A cherry blossom petal fell from her hair.
(ah, I understand)
"What a lovely name, darling," she purred with a glowing smile. "My name is Kasumi. Named for the flowers in your hair." She reached out and gently plucked one of the petals from Everest's hair. "They grew near my childhood home."
Another pink haze spread across Everest's cheeks- she'd been looking like this the entire time. She shook her head in an attempt to rid herself of the petals. "That's nice," Everest smiled shyly and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
"Do you live in this city? I know it's always changing- the location of the club." She laughed awkwardly, trying to remember how a conversation worked.
"But do you think I could see you again?"
Kasumi nodded. "I live in a penthouse relatively nearby," she said in her lilting voice. "I am well acquainted with the owners of the club, so I always have access." She reached out and gently tucked another strand of hair back behind Everest's ear. "We can certainly see each other again," she purred with a smile.
