(Okie dokie)

Kasumi swayed her hips hypnotically to the music as she sang. Most of the crowd, except those that were used to her voice, were entranced. She gazed out at the audience, a sultry smile on her face as the lyrics flowed like water from her lips.

Everest waded through the crowd like a lost child at a zoo, this was her first time at a no-humans club and she didn't plan on losing her only friend in the first few minutes of their arrival. She sighed in defeat but finally acknowledged the enchanting voice coming somewhere from the dance floor. Everest craned her neck to try and locate the source of the beautiful melody that seemed to stand apart from the rest, if only she was taller.

Weaving her way through the crowd like a soft breeze, Kasumi sent smiles in every direction, brushing against shoulders and hands. She never stopped singing as she made her way to the center of the dance floor amongst the pulsing lights and music and the constant movement of all the clubgoers.

Everest managed to squeak deeper into the claustrophobic crowd of witches, wizards and other miscellaneous non-humans- soon leaving a trail of 'excuse me' and 'sorry.'
But she felt- and heard the voice getting closer, more clear than any human-music she'd heard before. But as she brushed past that one last shoulder, she was met with the enchanting face that matched the enchanting voice.

@Skylark

Kasumi blinked her large green eyes, fluttering her eyelashes slightly, as she looked back at the woman who had appeared in the crowd in front of her. She tilted her head and smiled as she continued to sing her lilting melody. Swaying her hips in a figure eight pattern and raising her arms above her head, she kept singing and dancing as she watched the being in front of her.

Everest managed to squeak out a "Hi" and wave awkwardly, all while standing completely still in the crowd, watching the woman continue to dance to her own melody as if nothing mattered. She wished she could be like that- confident and hypnotizing. Everest smiled, revealing her dimples and still oblivious to the flower petals in her hair. She wondered if the mysterious woman could read minds, and that she knew about how beautiful Everest thought she was.

@Skylark

Kasumi smiled, sensing the waves of the woman's emotions. She reached out and took the woman's hands, putting them around her own neck, then she rested her hands on the woman's hips as she continued to sing. She swayed and twisted her hips, leading the woman in an easy dance, guided by her voice and the pulsing music all around them.

Everest was dumbfounded and a slight pick brushed over her cheeks at the feeling of physical contact. In this moment- she felt special, though she knew a woman like this probably danced with a hundred other girls before her, she felt drawn; to the way she sang, the way her hips flowed so effortless to the rhythm of the music, the way her confidence radiated around her like an aura. Everest decided not to say anything and just smile and dance along- not wanting for her to stop dancing with her.

@Skylark

Kasumi smiled and closed her eyes as they danced. After a short time, she opened her eyes, tilting her head as she sang, looking directly into the woman's piercing blue eyes with her own depthless green ones. The people around them crowded closer, more people having joined the dance floor. She wrapped her long arms all the way around the woman's waist and drew her closer.

Everest felt the proximity between them tighten like space was closing in on them, all while they were dancing, smiling, looking into each other's eyes. She wondered if the pink-haired woman was leading her on, and this was just a phase before she'd walk away like she totally didn't cause butterflies in Everest's stomach. This moment was euphoric, and Everest didn't want it to end, but if one of them didn't talk soon, this would be a moment of regret.

@Skylark

Kasumi pulled back and spun the woman, a smile covering her face as they pulled back together, her hands returning to their places on the woman's hips. She finally broke her song to laugh, her laughter a song in itself as her green eyes glimmered in the light. "Is this your first time at OZ, darling?" she asked, her voice a lilting purr.

"Uh..yeah." Everest immediately took note of the loss in sound around her, it was as if the song had revolved around the voice of her and not vice versa- because there was definitely a magical aura that surrounded her but Everest couldn't quite pinpoint it. "Your voice…" Everest gushed "It's so beautiful." She wanted to say more, how it resembles the sight of falling cherry blossom petal from the trees in front of her house, how it felt like wading through a thick mist walking towards a beautiful nothing, feeling the depth of the woman's iris's the same way she felt gravity holding her down to the ground.
"Where'd you learn to sing like that?"
