"Where are we going, though?"
"Where are we going, though?"
"Uhh… How 'bout Chipotle?" Kenzie glanced sideways at Hunter as she made her suggestion.
"Oh, I've never gone there before," Hunter commented. "Be my Map, Kenz."
Kenzie fully faced him, a wide grin crossing her face. "It's great. You'll love it, I'm sure," she stated. "Um… You do like Mexican, right? 'Cause it's burritos and such…"
"Of course," Hunter grinned. "Lead the way~"
Kenzie gave Hunter directions to the closest restaurant, and they arrived just a few minutes later.
"Ta-da!" Kenzie exclaimed happily as they pulled into the parking lot. "We're here!"
Hunter parked the car and soon they both found themselves eating. Hunter had asked Kenzie to order for him, since he didn't have any clue as to what he should eat, and it was amazing. Kenzie was right; the food was awesome.
"So, what's your schedule?" Hunter asked, taking a sip of his soda.
"Mondays and Fridays I've got English Comp. and Pre-Calc. Wednesdays and Fridays I've got Chemistry. And I've got Medical Terminology Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursdays are my free days, thank goodness!" Kenzie exclaimed, leaning back in her seat and draping her arm over her eyes dramatically.
(I'm hungry)
"Ooh, I've got Biology on Mondays and Thursday, as well as Economics. I've got Tuesdays as my free days, and on Wednesdays and Fridays, I've got Chemistry and Physics," Hunter says. "Wow, our schedule's pretty off, isn't it?"
Kenzie laughed. "Yeah. No wonder we never ran into each other before today!" she exclaimed. "What were you doing when I bumped into you, anyway?"
"Trying to get out of college so I could see you," Hunter shrugged casually. "Seems like life's on my side."
"That's sweet," Kenzie stated, smiling at him. "Thankfully, I don't have any other classes today, so the rest of my day is free."
Hunter sighed.
"Lucky you. I got Physics in an hour."
(Does that make it Wednesday or Friday?)
"That's lame," Kenzie said, giving him a sympathetic look.
(Wednesday)
"But you'll help me waste away my hour, won't you?" Hunter smiled cheekily, his eyes darting towards Kenzie's lips before looking at her eyes again.
Kenzie's heart skipped a beat as she noticed Hunter's eyes flash to her lips. "Yea-yeah. Yeah, sure," she stuttered, biting her lower lip subconsciously.
Hunter grinned.
"Thanks, Kenz, you're the best."
"So… Shall we go, then?" she asked, grabbing her things and standing.
Hunter nodded and they packed up their bags, paid for the food and got into Hunter's car.
"Where to now?" Kenzie asked, looking over at Hunter.
"You decide," Hunter shrugged. "We could chill at home and watch a movie or something."
Kenzie nodded. "That sounds nice. We wouldn't be able to finish, though," she looked thoughtful for a moment, then suggested, "We could play a game. Like, 'truth or dare', 'never have I ever', or 'two truths and a lie.' "
"We'll try playing it one after another," Hunter said, parking his car in front of his house. "If you've still got space in your stomach, we could have popcorn while we play."
"I've always got room for popcorn!" Kenzie exclaimed. "I say we play 'two truths and a lie,' first."
"We'll play that, then," Hunter grinned, unlocking his house. "Home sweet home. Too bad I'll part with both in a while."
