Time Skip: The Next Day

Kenzie and Hunter had informed Willeo to join them for a date to the water park, and were simply waiting for the couple to meet them at the place. Hunter was looking forward to it, mostly because he loved the feeling of water, a little bit because of the way Kenzie would look in a swimsuit (no, Hunter, get those thoughts out of your head), and above all, because Leo was deathly afraid of water.
“Don’t mention anything to them,” Hunter told Kenzie with a sly smile.

Poor Hunter, though, Kenzie's got a pretty modest swimsuit. ;)

"Of course not. Why would I ruin the surprise?" Kenzie laughed, adjusting her pale pink cover-up over her swimsuit. At least it was warm in the lobby, compared to the fridged cold outside. She was excited, and she honestly didn't know how she was going to keep from blurting it all out to her friend.

Speaking of…

Willow was dragging Leo behind her, grinning excitedly. Who wouldn't be excited to go swimming in the middle of winter?

Leo groaned as Willow dragged him towards Hunter and Kenzie, dreading what was in his future. He looked furiously at Hunter when they reached them.
“You!” he hissed, pointing at Hunter. “This is your doing!”
Hunter grinned innocently, whistling like he had no idea what Leo was talking about.
“What are you goin’ on about, mate?” Hunter asked, a Cheshire grin on his face. “If you’re talking about a double date, then yes it was my idea.”
(Hunter wouldn’t care about what swimsuit she’s wearing. XD She looks beautiful to him no matter what.)

(Lol. Okay.)

Willow bounced in her toes in anticipation. "C'mon, c'mon! I wanna get in the water already! Leo, what's the hold up, Hun?"

Amused, Kenzie shook her head at her friend. She held on to Hunter's hand, smiling and trying to subtly hide her ring.

Hunter shot Leo another grin who returned it with an angry scowl.
“Fine, let’s go,” he grumbled. The four went ahead to pay for to enter and then walked towards the water.
Hunter inhaled deeply, stretching before he made movement to remove his shirt.
“Man, I love the water,” he exhaled deeply, grinning.

"Mm-hm," Kenzie agreed absentmindedly. She was somewhat distracted by Hunter's bare chest, though she could only see it out if the corner of her eye because she was avoiding looking directly at him. Would she ever be able to look at him this way?

She shook her head, clearing it as she slipped out of her cover-up. Left in just her swimsuit, she bit her lower lip and rubbed an arm with her hand.

Hunter’s eyes went to Kenzie before he immediately looked away, cheeks tinted pink. She looked so cute in her swimsuit that Hunter felt like dying.
Leo made a gagging noise, pretending to be disgusted by their interaction. He didn’t make a move to undress, with his fear or drowning and all. Something sparkly caught his eye and he found himself staring at Kenzie’s hand. His eyes widened.
“Holy shit!” He exclaimed, eyes wide with disbelief.

"What? What's with the shocked exclamation?" Willow asked, confused. She also took her cover-up off, showing her swimsuit. Oddly enough, she still hadn't noticed Kenzie's ring…

Kenzie's eyes widened slightly, and she moved her hands behind her back, feigning casualness. She took a step closer to Hunter, her gaze set on the other couple.

(Yeah… I technically didn't set a language limit to this RP, but I usually say light swearing is fine.
I mean, I don't, and my characters don't, but as long as everyone else doesn't constantly swear, it's fine w/me.)

(Leo tries not to swear and uses other words to curse (like holy fork and stuff like that) but there are rare times where curses escape.)

Leo’s ears turned pink at Willow’s swimsuit, but the shock at what he realized kept him from turning into a mess.
“Oh my God. Hunter, did you already do it, man?” Leo shot Hunter a look. “Wow, and that early? Please tell me I’m not joking and that really is the real deal. Is that why you invited us for a double date?”

Kenzie blushed and avoided Willow's eyes. She was grinning, though, and was honestly surprised her friend hadn't gotten it, yet.

"What? What are you talking about, Leo? Seriously, I'm so lost," Willow complained, her eyebrows scrunched in as she looked back and forth between everyone.

Leo shook his head as Hunter laughed, confirming his suspicions. He could barely register Willow’s words.
Hunter thought Leo’s eyes couldn’t open any wider, but he was wrong. Soon, the shocked look on his face turned into pure happiness as the teenager tackled Hunter into a hug.
“I can’t believe this!” He exclaimed excitedly. “When did this happen? Why didn’t you guys call me right away? Hunter, you idiot! Oh God, I can’t believe it. This is amazing. Oh man, we need to celebrate. Damn, I have to get a gift now, don’t I? That’s what you people do on occasions like these, right? Right?”
“I don’t know, Leo,” Hunter shook his head, patting his best friend on the back, pretending to be annoyed but the smile on his face betrayed him. “You’re the expert here. Now quit hugging me! It’s weird.”
Leo pulled away, but he was still grinning.
“Willow, why aren’t you excited?!”

"Because I don't know what's happ–" Willow started to exclaim before her eyes landed on Kenzie's hand, which she had moved into the open once Leo had figured it out. "MCKENZIE RHODES, HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME ABOUT THIS IMMEDIATELY?!?"

Kenzie's grin grew wider, and she giggled as she leaned over into Hunter. "We wanted to surprise you guys."

"Well, job well done! Color me surprised!" Willow exclaimed, shaking her head.

Hunter squeezed Kenzie’s shoulders, a happy look on his face.
“I also wanted to see how long it would take for you guys to notice,” he said cheekily. “Congratulations, Leo. I thought Willow would notice first, but it was you instead.”
Leo scowled and punched Hunter on the shoulder before a grin took its place.
“So, when’s the wedding?” he grinned.
