Hey Mosis!! //
I'm about to put a reply in smh //
(Not much, I'm in my final year of school next year so thats scary. How are you?)
Mistpaw looked up at the sound of Hawkwillow's voice. "I just-" She started, tears welling up in her eyes. "I don't know what to do. I mean, I thought I could trust Flamepaw, but now… I'm not so sure." She dropped her gaze. "I don't want to believe that he said anything about Ciel, but-" She met Hawkwillow's gaze. "Nothing makes sense anymore."
(Not Mistpaw forgetting that Hawkwillow doesn't know about Ciel)
(I'm glad you guys can't see me, I just bounced around my room squeaking)
Swiftstar curled her tail around her mate and lay her head on the brown cats shoulder. "We can't blame them too much for their shenanigans, you, Ravenheart, and I were much worse. Do you remember when we snuck out to visit the Moonpool as apprentices because Rabbitstar wouldn't let us. And when we snuck into RiverClan territory to try fish and Ravenheart almost drowned?" She licked Springheart's head.
"I can tell you're worried about Stormpaw and Cloudypaw. And Mistpaw and Flamepaw. Lots of cats are in half clan relationships these days. Silverpaw is and she thought I wouldn't notice. I'm her mentor for StarClan's sake." She nudged the other she-cat. "And it isn't like you can talk. Before you say anything I will remind you that I am allowed to tease you, I'm your mate."
Springheart laughed, nuzzling Swiftstar's cheek. "Don't remind me about the Moonpool." she mewed, twitching her ear. "Or us sneaking into RiverClan." she shook her head, snickering slightly. "I was absolutely terrified when I saw Ravenheart fell into the river," she twitched her tail, "Though. I wouldn't mind having another fish." She remembered sneaking in the dead of night, having had rolled on the RiverClan scent markers as to night get caught. It was a crazy night, one which she almost forgot about until Swiftstar had mentioned it.
"Yes! Yes, I do like you!" Cloudypaw said, stepping towards the brown tabby tom. "Oh, thank StarClan. I thought you were going to say you didn't like me and I got worried and panicked a bit and then you kicked my cheek and I got really overwhelmed over whether it was a friend thing or an 'I like you' thing." She paused to breathe in. "But now I have to leave. And Scorchfeather won't let me go to the gathering because of what happened when I last saw her. So I don't know when I'll see you again!"
Stormpaw paused before he broke into a bright and large smile. "Oh, Thank StarClan. I thought you didn't feel the same…" he sighed. He was so focused on Cloudypaw he didn't even notice Mistpaw padding away and into the clearing and out of the tall grass. When Cloudypaw spoke again after, after taking a deep breath, his eyes widened. "I almost forgot you had to leave…" he murmured. He flicked his tail as he looked away with a huff, Almost… I just wish she could just stay. "Scorchfeather's a arrogant, fox-heart. rabbit-brain!" he hissed. "If she doesn't let you go to the gathering i'll personally go up to that ginger rat and claw off her ears!" he growled, his tail lashing angrily.
It isn't fair! Cloudypaw shouldn't be dealing with this stupid stuff because of her dumb mentor!
"I wish you could just be in WindClan," he mewed, looking Cloudypaw in the eyes. "Then neither of us could have to worry about Scorchfeather- or- or just us being in different clans."
Sorry this took forever to get out smh. But heeere. Have Springheart reminiscing on being a rebel apprentice, and Stormpaw being pissed at Scorchfeather <33 //
(Not Mistpaw forgetting that Hawkwillow doesn't know about Ciel)
OH NO- BUT ALSO, DRAMA //
(D R A M A)
(Not much, I'm in my final year of school next year so thats scary. How are you?)
(Good. Doing hw because Thank god my teacher gave me an extra few days to do it since I was out sick.)
Mintpaw glanced at Flowerpaw and Quailpaw as they left. "What do you think's up with them?" She asked, turning back to Flamepaw. "I bet they've got some 'surprise' planned for some cat again." (I can just see Flower and Quail being partners in crime. Pranking their Clanmates because it's funny.
Flamepaw turned his head to the side, "I'm not sure really. They're probably just doing something. Ya know cats like to keep things to themselves sometimes." The black and white cat shook his head. "So, Who's your mentor? I have…Rainfrost"
(Crap I don't know who her mentor is)
(True we need a mento for her)
(Jaystrike is her mentor)
(I just realized something. Jaystrike is related (in a way) to Flamepaw because his mate was Tornthicket and Tornthicket is Darkspots' littermate and Darkspots kit is Flamepaw so yes. Now I know this and you)
Mintpaw's mentor is Jaystrike! (bc i made him, ima give him a personality and slight backstory) Jaystrike is an social, bluntly honest, strict and protective mentor. Jaystrike has had 2 other apprentices but one of them died during leaf-bare and the other ran away and hasn't been seen since. He grown a really hard shell and wants to make sure that Mintpaw is the best she can be and also prove to his clan that he isn't a terrible mentor. He's the very noticeable ambitious sibling out of him and Maplepatch. //
(I just realized something. Jaystrike is related to Flamepaw because his mate was Tornthicket and Tornthicket is Darkspots' littermate and Darkspots kit is Flamepaw so yes. Now I know this and you)
Jaystrike is his… Uncle then! Uncle-in-law? idk- I'm not good with family trees– someone correct me if im wrong smh //
(He'd be his uncle.)
"Rainfrost, huh? Mine's Jaystrike." Mintpaw replied. "So, about your little visit to WindClan… What was it like?" She asked, tilting her head. "Was it weird to be out in the open like that?"
Flamepaw shook his head. "Nope! I've been there much more times. Just a few moons ago I was practically living there until I chose to go back to Thunderclan. I have a few friends there actually… A few." Flamepaw shook his head because his mind shifted to Mistpaw.
"What?" Hawkwillow said, cocking his head in confusion. "I'm not even going to pretend to know what that's about but-" He padded closer to the young cat and pressed his forehead on hers. "This seems to be bothering you a lot. Maybe Swiftstar will bring you to the gathering and you can see Flamepaw and talk to him about it. If it's bothering you too much, you should talk to Springheart about it. She is your mother after all."
"We should ask Stormpaw about it now, then I will invite him, Mistpaw, and Vixenpaw to the gathering," Swiftstar said, standing and scanning the clearing for Stormpaw. "And I promise if he doesn't tell you, I will, because he shouldn't be keeping it from you." She spotted Stormpaw outside of the apprentice den, talking with Cloudypaw, looking rather embarrassed.
Cloudypaw slowly and shyly leaned forwards and touched Stormpaw's nose with hers. "Hey, I'm sure we will see each other again. Scorchfeather can't keep me away from every gathering." She shuffled around to lean on his shoulder. "And yeah, Scorchfeather is bad but I wouldn't use all of those words to describe her. She's okay sometimes." Cloudypaw looked up across the clearing and saw Swiftstar and Springheart walking calmly over. "Hey, I think your mothers want you."
(Koipaw, in RiverClan, because he will come up later ;) )
Koipaw was crouched in the clearing, listening to Squirrelstar ramble, trying to ignore his own excitement. It was his first gathering after all, and the first one since ShadowClan returned. He could feel his sister, Poolpaw, almost shaking with excitement next to him. Squirrelstar had decided to bring every apprentice to the gathering and was now telling them stories of gatherings past. Honestly, Koipaw didn't mind Squirrelstar's stories but he knew the other apprentices would rather be out training. He couldn't wait to meet members of other clans, he wondered if he would see that WindClan apprentice that he met at the border once. He glanced at the sky, at the gathering clouds, that wasn't a good sign, a gathering without the stars present was not a good omen.
KOIPAWWWW OMG IM GETTING A REPLY IN ASAP //
(Just letting everyone know, except Spring who already knows, Vixenpaw is a trans guy and has been since late 2020 and I just forgot to say anything. He isn't out yet though)
(Wait, who did Koipaw see?)
I think its either Stormpaw or Vixenpaw. I'm leaning heavily towards Stormpaw bc he went on a patrol on the RiverClan border and clearly stated he saw Koipaw a couple pages back. //
(Ok)
"What?" Hawkwillow said, cocking his head in confusion. "I'm not even going to pretend to know what that's about but-" He padded closer to the young cat and pressed his forehead on hers. "This seems to be bothering you a lot. Maybe Swiftstar will bring you to the gathering and you can see Flamepaw and talk to him about it. If it's bothering you too much, you should talk to Springheart about it. She is your mother after all."
"Yeah…you're right." Mistpaw said, giving Hawkwillow a small smile. "I think I will talk to her. Thanks, Hawkwillow."
Flamepaw shook his head. "Nope! I've been there much more times. Just a few moons ago I was practically living there until I chose to go back to Thunderclan. I have a few friends there actually… A few." Flamepaw shook his head because his mind shifted to Mistpaw.
Mintpaw's ears pricked with interest. "Really? Could you tell me about them?" She asked. "Your friends, I mean. It sounds like you miss them." She added, sympathetically.
Hey!! Good Morning all!! //
Springheart nodded, following her mates gaze and noticed her looking over at the Apprentices' Den. Her brown tabby son talking with the ThunderClan she-cat, Cloudypaw. Both young cats looked embarrassed and flushed as they sat close together, she could only hope nothing serious had happened. But even so, would it really matter? she asked herself, If my son- Mistpaw, any of my precious kits fall for someone out of WindClan, that's fine… I mean, I fell in love with a kittypet for StarClan's sake! she smiled a as she and Swiftstar approached closer, Cloudypaw mewed something to Stormpaw and her son turned to look over Cloudypaw's head.
Stormpaw pressed back briefly when Cloudypaw touched their noses together. He felt happy, paws tingling a bit. He tenses a bit when Cloudypaw shuffled over to move and rest on his shoulder. "I would. She seems like a mean- vindictive cat, i've never seen her do anything good…" he tired to think but he couldn't remember anything that might've been seen as an act of kindness or for the good of her clan, but absolutely nothing came to mind.
Cloudypaw mewed something about his mother and he looked up and over her fuzzy sliver head to see both his mother's padding over. Cloudypaw scooted away a bit, still on his side but not resting her head on his shoulder, and he felt a rush of cold air on his shoulder. Springheart smiled as she approached, trotting faster that the gray tabby leader, Swiftstar.
"Stormpaw! Oh, look at you." his mother purred, sighing as she began licking his head fluff down. He stammered for a second trying to duck under her tongue but Springheart held him in place. "Don't move." she huffed, "you look like you just rolled in dirt and sand- your fur's a mess!"
He groaned, pushing her off. "Mom- i'm not a kit-" he hissed, and went back to fluffing his head fluff back up and shaking his pelt back out. He didn't need to be embarrassed, especially in front of Cloudypaw. Springheart only smiled, chuckling. "Of course not." she mewed.
"So- why'd you come over here?" he asked, his tail curling around his paws.
Springheart looked over at Swiftstar before back at him, "we wanted to talk to you."
Stormpaw sat more upright. "oh? Alright." he blinked. Is it about me and Cloudypaw? or…? he paused in his thinking, suddenly remembering. oh! is it about the gathering? it's later tonight!
ugh- sorry if this isn't any good smh. //
